Nolvadex<\/span><\/h2>\n

Nolvadex also known as Tamoxifen, is what is called as a SERM, Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator, it is most often used on cycle and as a part of a PCT and has been a staple component of a steroid cycle since the golden age of bodybuilding began.<\/span><\/p>\n

When on a cycle, the build of estrogen from aromatizable compounds can cause havoc in your body. Many side effects occur because of the effects of excess estrogen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Increase blood pressure, stress to the cardiovascular system and gynecomastia are all possible and serious side effects which can occur from having excess estrogen in circulation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unlike Aromasin<\/a> or Arimidex<\/a>, though, Nolvadex doesn\u2019t do anything to stop the level of aromatization in the body. What it does is block the receptors it would normally attach to, especially around areas like the nipples, which prevents gynecomastia.<\/span><\/p>\n

A lot of strength athletes and those in the offseason prefer holding some extra water weight around the muscles. It helps soothe the joints and allows one to push a little heavier and further when lifting heavy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another action of Tamoxifen and one of the reasons it has been used by PED using athletes for so long as a part of a PCT is that Nolvadex can increase the production of the follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is essential, helping to kickstart your own natural testosterone production. When injecting exogenous testosterone our own levels of natural testosterone start to dwindle. It is important to run an efficient PCT and bring back our own levels as problem-free as possible,<\/span><\/p>\n

Nolvadex Dose and Availability<\/span><\/h2>\n

Tamoxifen is available in pharmacy grade and it is also manufactured by UGLs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nolvadex comes in 10mg tablets.<\/span><\/p>\n

The general price for Nolvadex is between \u00a325 – \u00a335 per box.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nolvadex on Cycle<\/span><\/h2>\n

Nolvadex isn\u2019t ideal for reducing or controlling estrogen levels on cycle. If you find you are holding to much water then an AI like Arimidex, or Aromasin would be the preferred choice. Nolvadex is more preferable for people who a little water weight would benefit.<\/span><\/p>\n

When running steroids, especially those that have higher levels of aromatisation like deca, Dianabol and such estrogen levels can quickly spiral. For some, that could mean side effects like gynecomastia appearing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gynecomastia is the growth of breast tissue in men. For anyone using steroids gynecomastia and water retention often go hand in hand. It is something nobody wants to have to deal with. Symptoms of gynecomastia include puffy and tender nipple and swollen tissue around the nipple area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most people who know they are sensitive to estrogen will already be running some form of control on cycle. For those of you who may be new to the sport then Nolvadex should be used every day throughout the cycle and PCT.<\/span><\/p>\n

When on cycle, a dose of 10mg every day is a good place to start. Remember, Nolvadex won\u2019t zap your estrogen away, it will, however, allow you to continue to grow while keeping you safe from gynecomastia.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you find you are struggling with tender nipples or lumps then Nolvadex can be run at 20mg per day. At the worst-case scenario, it may be that you need to reduce the levels of estrogen with an AI.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nolvadex also will not help gynecomastia which is being caused by Prolactin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone is different and how their body handles aromatisation will be different. It is important to see what works for you and test then adjust.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tamoxifen as PCT<\/span><\/h2>\n

Not only is Nolvadex great at preventing gynecomastia it has also been known to be able to stimulate FSH and help kickstart the recovery process after a long shutdown from being on cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n

In PCT the idea is to start ramping up the testes to increase the levels of your own natural testosterone. Once on cycle, the levels of testosterone being produced by your own body will gradually start to reduce.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nolvadex is an important part of a PCT, and it can be run all the way through. For most, during PCT your hormone levels are beginning to level out and find homeostasis, again, using Nolvadex instead of an AI allows your body to naturally find its equilibrium.<\/span><\/p>\n

Side Effects of Nolvadex<\/span><\/h2>\n

Nolvadex does come with some side effects, a few more notable than others. This, at the end of the day, is a cancer treatment drug.<\/span><\/p>\n

The most common sides are hot flashes, joint pain, fatigue, changes in mood and behaviour, depression and changes in blood pressure. It should be noted that it is quite rare to experience these side effects.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another common side effect of Nolvadex is headaches. Not everyone will get them but you can treat them just as you would a normal headache.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Nolvadex<\/span><\/h3>\n

Nolvadex is a SERM which was developed to be used as a part of breast cancer treatment in women.<\/span><\/p>\n

In bodybuilding, it is used to stop the attachment of estrogen to key areas in the body like breast tissue and the hips. This works in a blocking effect which limits the chances of getting gynecomastia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Can it Make You Gain Weight?<\/span><\/h3>\n

As far as the side effects of Tamoxifen go gaining weight isn\u2019t listed as one of them. Nolvadex does not remove water weight so if you start putting on more weight it could be water-related.<\/span><\/p>\n

Can Nolvadex Help With Hair Loss?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Hairloss cause by the use of anabolic and androgenic steroids will not be helped by Nolvadex. The use of Finasteride or Pramipexiole is more likely to help with hair loss caused by androgens.<\/span><\/p>\n

How Quickly Does it Work<\/span><\/h3>\n

Nolvadex will start working within hours. Although it may take a few days to see or feel the results if you have left it to the last minute to start using it. You should be running it from the beginning of your cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n

As with steroids, it will take some time for the level of Nolvadex in the body to reach its peak where it can start exhibiting its effects.<\/span><\/p>\n

Can Nolvadex Effect The Liver?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Tamoxifen is used in cancer patients. So, at that point, the body is already combatting a lot worse. Although, not the norm, some people may find a little more stress on the liver when using Tamoxifen.<\/span><\/p>\n
