First Cycle Just Looking For General Advice

So I'm looking to start my first cycle in a few months.
Test e 500mg/week
HCG 250ui every 4-5 days

PCT
Nolvadex 40/40/20/20

And this is where I need some help please guys should I still be taking the HCG throughout the pct as well and also do I need to add clomid if its a test only cycle.. Just looking for as much info as I can before I even think about starting this
Thanks in advance for the help

care to share more details, age, training experience etc etc, the more information the merrier. diet, training blah blah blah

Cycle seems fine... whats the plan and goals

I'm 27 been training about 4 years but tore my rotator cuff start of this year an basically got really out of shape started back training 4 months ago back down to 190lbs about 9% body fat my diet isn't perfect but I keep it as clean as possible eating anywhere from 3000-3500 calories a day I have been following Y3t as my training my goal is basically just get bigger I have no immediate goals on trying to look good for summer or anything like that but I would like to compete for my 30th birthday and want to see just how good i can look in 3 years

well good luck on the journey, as always starting a log on here is the best way to get ongoing feedback and help and enables people to see what your doing and add there idea, thoughts, banter etc. 3 years is a decent time to get ready that's for sure

Not that it really matters at this stage but if that’s a recent avi pic then you’re way above 9%, realistically 13-15%
3 years is a good time frame to add some size and 500mg test is a good starting cycle.
Start tracking your macros more accurately and clean up the diet a bit. This way you can make small increases each time and make steady progress rather than putting on too much fat and having to diet
I’m assuming you’ll be thinking of doing more cycles in the future given your goals.
If that’s the case then my advice would be to cruise on low dose test between cycles rather than pct.
pct drugs are harsher on the body than a little test. Also, no point in using them and stressing the body more to bring your hormones back just to go on cycle again within a few months
Of course, this is just my opinion and the way I would do it. Others may disagree and have their reasoning

Yea that picture is about 5 weeks old don't really take many photos.. My diet is priority at the moment just a fussy eater lol when you say cruising I have heard this thrown about by a few people but I don't actually have much knowledge on this what does that entail? And yes you are right I do plan on more cycles incorporating like D-bal anivar and such

Post up your current diet for advice, you’ll get a few people chime in with some decent feedback
Cruising is basically using as little gear as poss to maintain size and strength between cycles
Some people use just enough test to keep levels within the natural range, usually between 150-250mg weekly
Others use a little more and maybe a couple of compounds
Blood tests are also advisable to check health and hormone levels
It would be a good idea to do this before you start your first cycle, most people don’t think of this and have nothing to compare to later down the line

Yea I had looked up medichecks is it better to go for the hormone check plus or is the standard all I need? I am planning on doing one pre cycle and post cycle do I need to be doing one mid cycle or is that just overkill?

Up to you really, the standard will tell you the basics of what you need the plus is more in depth
If you can afford it then the gold standard would be to test mid cycle as it’s your first one.
This way you can see how your body is reacting and if you need to adjust what your doing. Like adding/increasing AI for example if Estrogen is high
It’ll also show the quality of your gear
The post test will show how your body recovers, I’d leave this at least 6 weeks or longer if you decide to pct
Once you know how your body reacts, what works and what doesn’t then a couple of tests a year should be fine

I’d get as much tested as possible for a first blood test, you’ll never have a chance to record that baseline number again.

very true
percentage that's done this must be tiny though.
I didn't don't know anyone who did, but companies like medichecks make this possible now, wasn't much of an option years ago.

Another question just on the blast and cruising thing.. If I did decide to go down that path and say cut my dose 200mg test e every 10 days assuming I keep size at that dose... Should I still be taking Hcg?

sure others will tell you what's best but I personally don't see why you'd use HCG.
it's like sending conflicting signals to your endocrine system to me.
if you're plan on coming off for a while pct and use HCG but if you're cruising in between cycles no need.
my opinion that's all.

think you may get the taste for it when you been on a while , so maybe cruise is way to go , ive been on for 3 years blast and cruise, but im 61 and need the test , and feel amazing for it , cannot imagine being off , and im always throwing other product in the mix,
