Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyrone Sprong in doubt this weekend due to adverse findings in one of Sprong's doping tests.

I'm still looking forward to seeing Usyk's heavyweight debut despite the circumstances. Hearn has said they have replacements lined up and rumoured to be Carlos Takam.
Tyrone been juicing for the last decade minimum, never going to pass LOL
shame the money is in boxing, Sponge way more fun under K1 rules, and its way more exciting to watch too

Yeah he was a middleweight when he started out in K1 I think, then stepped up to heavyweight just before the 2010 GP

Overeem just out sized him in the quarter final when he was Ubereem

I think he’s switched to boxing due to the leg break Noel

yep, vicious little bastard, that leg break fooked him (back in '14) but in general its why people move. Nigel Benn told me he wished K1/MMA had been about as hed have rather done that, and ive had a couple of guys go Pro Boxing as the money per fight is light years ahead. Still there is some money at least - better than it was. I just rarely find boxing better than k1 or thai ...the odd fight but its just one dimensional and dull for the most part. not doubting the skill just i think as a spectator sport its way better, just look at old fights with Aerts or Hoost. or Mike Zambis, or Hunt vs Sefo.....could waffle on all day

But the B sample was tested clear by a VADA approved lab. According to his tweets.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all to be honest.

it’s so frustrating to hear people claim that price is a different fighter in the gym cuz every time I see him step In the ring a small part of me thinks right this is the one this is fight he’s gonna show it. For some reason I want him to do well but it just doesn’t happen. He looked ok against povetkin I thought until that went south. Yeh he looked good against Allen but I feel he should of anyway he’s levels above and far too rangy for someone like Allen.

This is it. He used his jab very well against Allen, but then youd expect him to wouldnt you.

I dont think he has the power to keep a unit like Chisora off him for the whole fight

Did you watch Spence Porter recently? Great fight, proper war.

Le Banner was my guy

Then later on Badr

haha Hoost was the man though, Le Banner was good, Marseilles gangsta style...was sat next to him at an MMA event once and surprised what a big fucker he was, tall and large. very intimidating fella. Hoost was tall too but stringy, kicked like a mule but had a nice demenour about it, easy to talk to. Le Banner looked like he would just twat you for saying hello

Badr , guys a c*nt......whacking people left right and centre (outside the ring)....

with all that it shows you how hard Mark Hunt is, still just about hanging in at the top level of the UFC (not really now but close) after a brutal K1 career back in the day

As I said earlier, my best mate is a massive Price fan so by virtue I've followed his career and always willed him to do well. He had a very good ammeter record and up until Tony Thompson fight he'd blown everyone out the water. I actually went to the second Tony Thompson fight (when he had Lewis in his corner) and it was painful to see it unfold the way it did, he definitely has immense punching power but the other attributes needed to be successful at a higher level seem to be missing.

Thing is I think Del Boy will win myself and that he’s better at what he does then price is at what he does

I think for Price to get a result he's got to frustrate him with his jab and catch him on the way out but Price historically gasses and Chisora will definitely keep the pace up, makes for an interesting match-up though.

I don't think this is an unpopular opinion but equally I don't want to risk opening a can of worms, but doping in some capacity seems to be rife across every professional sport - to the point you almost wish they'd just allow it be a free for all! Of course I'm saying that 'tongue in cheek' and ethically I know this would never happen.

K1 and pride never tested, were encouraged to look like "comic book heros".... way forward IMO

I was having this discussion in the office with co-workers. I am open about AAS usage. Everyone was in agreement that PL has the right system, tested and untested feds but then we stated that there would be no sponsorship in untested as no big companies would want to be associated with gear takers.

Not sure how it would work but every professional athlete 'pushes the boundaries'.
