On a student budget the best value stuff that's simple to cook
Eggs, oats, rice, wholemeal bread, frozen veg, minced beef/chicken thigh
Buying bulk will be cheaper
Use a good online supp company (bulk powders/ my protein etc) and buy 5kg of whey concentrate
Cooked oats with whey and and egg mixed in is a great quick and easy meal

why not vary your sources

lean meats doesn't mean just chicken....turkey, fish, beef, lamb
rice, COR, potatoes
add healthy fats

uses spices

there are a million recipes out there just use google

To add to that, use slightly more fatty protein sources which are often cheaper and tastier than the lean stuff

or add 10g olive oil to each meal that's c600 calories straight away....

or coconut oil ...same thing

protein plus carbs plus fats

pick things which digest well and are calorie dense.

All the body types have their struggles. Just think about it this way you only have to worry about gaining muscle and on a frame id assume you have if you are similar to this OP anything you put on looks impressive.

Where as the bigger guys yes they can put on muscle easier but it's a constant battle to keep the fat and appetite suppressed enough so like I said unless you already look like a god before you even start lifting like a genetic out stander you are going to battle and struggle. Even with great genetics the work still has to be done.

I wouldn’t recommend starting with steroids, it’s true that they can cause some serious problems. It’s worth to take something like that if you have a condition to treat, but I wouldn’t do it for aesthetic purposes. I’d start with some food supplements, because they are much safer. After all, many health problems are caused by lack of certain vitamins and/or minerals. For my testosterone deficiency I used a couple of food supplements, actually not long ago my uncle recommended me Testogen. I looked it up: Testogen scam or legal. I read that it’s a very good food supplement for those who want to boost their testosterone level. Anyway, my uncle is raving about it.
