Man To Monster Seanb Vol 3

Ok so upper after probably the hardest days grafting ive done this side of christmas.
Legs were in peices and had to deliver 1.2 of kitchen to a 4th floor flat by stairs this afternoon. 8 flights up 8 down. Probably 60 trips in total. Back to the session

Flat bench
Working sets
140 x 4
160 x 4
180x 3 + 1 assisted. Defo had a dodgey spotter last week. This week felt like real 180 lol

Bw+ 20 kg . Farr to light
Bw + 40 kg x 8 too light
Had no dip belt or no more chains so just slowed reps and paused stretch on final 2 sets
8 . 12 up on last week massively

17.5 kg x 12 pretty sure PB
17.5kg x 10 into triple drop set 8 , 6 ,6

Wasnt over moon with not matching bench but few contributing factors/ excuses . Haha . I think im heading in right direction. Leg sesh drained me yday woke up very dry and lean . And been fairly flat today. Routine is defo testing the limits. Already wanting more carbs
 
That is one naughty bench press mate. Session looked solid. How are you elbows from all the heavy benching? Do they ache or at the wraps just as a precautionary?
 
Yes they ache. Really pushing body to its limits atm. I can push the same without . They arnt tight. They just get rid of the pain at the bottom of rep i get from both tricep to elbow and brachia. Thats obv were the wraps are stretched and do there magic. I never really went light in prep and straight into heavy rebound. So they are seriously looking forward to deload in a few weeks. They hurt to put them on the table when eating now. So just like to take precautions as you say.
I wuld like to improve bench but improving my chest is more important regardless of weight shifted. Were here to build muscles .

You had physio on them or taking anything to try and relieve the pain? I tend to get achy elbows when benching heavy so willing to try anything. Sets of 10 @140kg bench 4 second eccentric would be pretty boss ;). All good my end mate, got about another 6 weeks before everything goes back in, looking forward to lots more food mainly haha and lifting heavy again. Patience is definitely key with this whole reverse diet malarky. Once its all done and dusted I am ready to become, like your titles say, a monster!

Likewise mate, i think like you ive got a big frame that I want to fill out. No I have a lean base I can add some quality lean gains to it. I think by the end of next year Ill be well on my way to a lean 100kg.

Deload will do you the world of good mate, before my prep I had 4 weeks off including a 1 week holiday to vegas. Looked a mess but did wonders for the aches and pains haha.

10 x 10 seated calf raises couple with 10 x 10 standing calv raises with bw.

Doesnt look a lot on paper . But pushed 110%
Pretty much the most gruelling session ive ever put in. Mainly hacks .
In peices now. U no u worked hard when u are walking like u have literally had a barbell shoved up ur muddy nort!
Most hack squats left me on knees fighting for air . All sets performed with no pauses

Another week down.
Had some water issues past 24 hours . Swollen ankles and general smoothness. Was looking like this tuesday evening

Impressive strength as always mate. Thats the harlow ripped isnt it? Been there a couple times to train legs and i fucking love it there. Really should make an effort to get back over there tbh. Pain in the ass for me to get there but totally worth it when inside. Equipment in there is the nuts! Only thing id like to see them add is a viking press just because it would be quality to add one of those into a shoulder/press workout.

Definitely growing mate, whats your weight atm?
