Porter beats everyone on Khan's record though (Canelo aside)
Brook's one win over Porter is better than any opponent Khan has beaten. A lot of the big fights at welterweight have yet to be made, Bradley aside.
And it's not so much the quality of opposition Brook has faced (can thank Eddie Hearn for fucking up his rise, keeping him in the UK to fill out arenas and earn PPV money) but it's the way he's dominated every opponent and how much better he's been.

Hopefully a unification fight against Vargas and all doors will open, Hearn can't keep him fighting in Sheffield and expect the mega fights to be made. Brook has to show some fucking initiative as well and refuse the voluntary fights that Hearn makes for him in these parts.

Aj will fight that guy who's just beat Chisora last night. It's all the commentators spoke about.

I think we all agree to a degree Brook can box & he's taken care of every opponent convincingly but Hearn has held him back. I can't see how he continue to hold him back now tho. He's at a real cross roads, it's time to go across the pond or O2 , Brammel lane vs Khan. Bigger venues against higher calibre opposition.

Khan was far from poor. You can win fights 'running away'...Floyd made a career out of it!

Khan looked good, but as usual his boxing IQ and defence let him down. His chin isn't complete glass as most make out - he took some solid shots well until getting caught by a monster of a shot he didn't see. Props to him for taking the fight.

Because he took a massive risk against a far bigger and better opponent. I love a risk taker, someone who puts it all on the line and goes for broke. Knowing you're pretty much guaranteed to lose and in devastating fashion, but still going ahead with it. Takes balls.

I didn't say he was Mayweather. I simply said that you can win fights/be winning a fight even if you're running away.

Khan's boxing skills were better than canelos imo. As the pundits said, his natural boxing skills could never be matched by canelo so he had to wait for a mistake, granted he made the best of khan's mistake but that was some fucking punch, ain't no one getting up after that but he did take a few serious punches before in the fight.

Fair play to both boxers I say, won't of done khan's rep any harm what so ever

It takes balls to take the fight when you know there's a very good chance you'll be flat lined in front of millions of people, it takes even bigger balls to go out on your shield throwing shots and actually winning the fight when you know your probably gonna get flat lined, it's not like he did a fraudley and turned up and didn't throw a punch before getting ko'd because he was so paralysed with fear, and that's actually the easier option, the "cowardly" way out if you can call it such a thing

Thats what's earned the respect of people in the sport. That's the difference

You missed my point about the difference in having the balls to turn up for a pay day like your talking about and having the balls to take the fight against a bigger man with a massive strength/power advantage and actually fight and throw punches essentially opening yourself up to those shots

And you'd be suprised how many people would turn down 9 million to turn up and basically get knocked out, believe it or not some people actually worry about brain trauma etc. and value their health over money
