Recurring Pain On Squatting

I keep getting a pain in the lower right hand side of my back, near the lip of my pelvis whenever I squat? Only happens once I get to around 100-120kg.

Ive had ACL reconstructions on both knees, and due to have a osteotomy and 2nd stage ACL revision again on my left knee this summer, hence why the weight im pushing is pish.
I thought it would be my knees giving me bother but they seem ok, when ive pushed higher weights since injury my left knee tracks in slightly but I can correct it.

I can feel the pain still in my back as im pulling the plates off the bar. Once I move on to the Leg press, the pain is still there for the 1st couple of sets, but then disappears after. And im pushing 230-250kg on Leg press.

Any ideas?

honestly sounds like piraformis poasas (not vouching for spellings) are locking up your hips probably due to over extension of the spine - butt wink if your going to depth

whats happened to mine a few times now same sort of thing

Bro, it's probably strain in your QL, does it refer to what feels like your floating rib if you do an unweighted or light pullover?

I go past parallel but struggle to get A2G bc my left knee is limited ROM.

Aids chap

Motherfucker!

Dont really do pullovers so cant really say but from where the QL sits, its bang on the money. Is there anything I can do to stop it or do I just bang through it?

It's nearly always flexibility if it isn't just a bad back pump. Tightness could explain that though as well.

Unless you're a cripple of some sorts.

It's identifying where though, could be quads, hams, hips....

List goes on.

Get dat full mobility routine going and see if it it helps. Think limber 8 is a decent one.

Could be aid though right?

Yeah defo.

Could just be the aids infested immortal sprems his boyfriend fired up his arse have swam too far up into his lower back and are building a sprem village.

If it's this then rip OP 4 eva

Hahaha

Dat sperm village in the back /10

Totally unscientific answer but I get similar when I go heavy on leg press. Mobility and foam rolling lower back helps a fair bit.

Look into s.i joint as well.
My right hip is messed up at the moment, s.i joint not happy either.

Get a hard bouncy ball (kids one) or lacrosse ball on the area whilst laying on your back.
Then bring your knee up on that side and grab your foot. Should help free it up.

Might not though :)

See a decent chiro/sports therapist asap if you can is normally best route.
