Bicep Injury

hi,

I’ve got an issue in my bicep that’s been ongoing for about a month now and I’ve been trying to train around it but am essentially just damaging it further.

Not sure how it happened, but I feel it on back and bicep excercises , it’s fine on everything else.

It occurs at my Lowe bicep insertion point near the elbow joint and I feel it when my arm is near the straightened position. Even if I try to do a curl with no weight I feel it when initiating the movement.

There’s no visible bruising/colouring around the area.

Any idea what this could be, was tempted to use some peptides to speed up recover too - any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Thanks, does anyone have any advice on peptides or if I’d benefit from them?

Wouldn’t bother going down the peptide/GH route until you actually know what is wrong. Best thing to do IMO is to find a doctor that specialises in sports injuries and go visit them, at least that’s a starting point to a diagnosis.

Would do as someone else mentioned though and take 2 weeks off training all together (weights) and see if you are still having trouble with it after that.

I had this almost exactly the same by the sounds of it,6 days off on holiday and I was right as rain.
Rest is sometimes the only option
