Debate: Where Do You Stand On Carbs?

alot of studys recently have shown that carbs have no play in muscle building or recovery and are only use full as energy and I belive this.
BUTTTTT I do know there are also studys that show they do help lmao
now you can't always follow science in bb you've got to go with what works for you but I was just wondering where everyone else stands on carbs.
do you use um post workout and in post workout meals?
why do you use um? cause I do understand that so,e people would rather eat there protien with rice/potato etc or do you think it actually helps with recovery?
have you ever tried not using post workout? and if yes what difference did you see?
cause I've both used um post workout and not used um and I found that I don't build anymore muscle using post workout

Eat carbs for fuel (so you can train), eat protein to recover, small amount of fats for health etc.
No need to read studies, this is what gets results. Want to gain, eat more carbs. Want to lose weight eat less carbs.
It really is that simple (for most people).

man this is my thoughts exactly and I've always followed this
I was starting to question myself cause my recent post about my cutting diet and someone mentioned carbs in a post workout meal it sent me down a road of reading studys and there's arguments for both sides and studys for both sides
I know what works for me and it's exactly what you said I was just curious about other people's thoughts

do you eat any carbs right before you train or no?
I've never tried intra carbs either

This is it.

On a cut I go down to 50g carbs post workout only, ive bulked using different amounts of carbs/proteins... I always thought eating higher protein is better than higher carbs but my opinion on that changed after moving to higher carbs.
I was eating 380protein/380carbs training days whilst bulking then changed to 250protein 650carbs slowly moving up to 850... I changed Fats so the surplus was pretty much same to Start with, I actually looked leaner fuller and performance was much better in gym and out of gym
 
I've seen some people say they prefer higher fat meals pre workout but you'd have just try it yourself.

I'm no bb'er nor very lean but I have carbs in every meal pretty much, pre work out, intra workout sometimes and always post wether it be just cereal or another meal with rice/bread etc.

Even before bed
Maintain on 400g and get very lean on 300g daily
Just do what works
For every study that supports one theory there will be as many supporting the opposite

OP, you asked for people's opinions and you'll get varying answers as different methods work for different people
Doesn't mean one is wrong and one is right

yeah I get that what works for one won't nesisarally work for another I just waned to see other peoples ways and thoughts

But carbs and fat spare protein to be used for those purposes instead of being converted to energy so just that one fact alone makes those studies close to worthless.
