Fell Out Of Love With The Gym !!

My problem is atm ave fell out of love with getting big it dosent seem to intrest me like it used too

Bodybuilding shows i couldnt get paid to go would be bored to tears

I enjoy my traning when am there but i do the rest as you say basically just live normal persons life

I know this was to op but am in similar situ
Look in the mirror more. Naked... ;)

I've completely fell out of love with training and lost interest in all things muscle....as most of you know I was alway on here, always in the gym and always eating big

Now I struggle with time, energy etc working longer hours and a baby on the way pretty much taken on my partners son along with my own 2 boys

Really want to get back to how I was looking and my strength.....who's been through this or going through it them selfs
Can totally relate bud. Lost all motivation and interest months ago. Tried to get back in the groove and never managed. Haven't stepped foot in a gym for ages now.

Still 2-3 weeks away from being able to properly train legs so just never bothered to train at all. Diet went down the pan and been drinking a fair amount. Look shit, feel shit.

All changes tomorrow.

As has been said, don't stress it. Just do what you enjoy. If that means some time away from the gym, so be it. Don't forget Ronnie, Levrone etc would take 3months off the gym after the Olympia, and it didn't seem to harm them!
Sometimes you just need to do a completely different routine, and do it for the fun of it. If your normally a volume trainer, then do a strongman/strength based routine, if you normally do strength stuff, do volume, and try get the most ridiculous pump you can get. Set little fun challenges for yourself, such as the 100 rep challenge on squats, chins etc, don't take them too seriously, but enough that you can have a little laugh at yourself if you don't complete them.

Defo mate, go the gym to get away from them :D

Funny you should say that about 3-4 years ago training/bodybuilding was all I ever thought about is always be in the gym but that's when I was with my ex (kids mum) bad relationship so I WANTED to be out the house away from her so I found something else (the gym) to compensate for the bad relationship

Now I'm in a brilliant relationship with a brilliant woman I have every need to WANT to be at home

I'm pretty sure you could have found one hour over the weekend. No?

Gifted - very strong for weight, good physique etc.

Yeah I could have found a hour but I choose not to.....(see above post lol)

Thanks mate I've been told by many that is so extremely well in strong man if I applied myself but like i mentioned I have other priorities that's are more important

I did used to (when I was single) drop my kids off at my mums for a few hours so I could train but then I feel so guilty as that's my time with them not my gym time

I do honestly thing it's a single mans game, obv you can do it with kids and a Mrs but you have to sacrifice a lot

And send you the pics? [emoji12][emoji12]

Sorry shouldnt get you that exited on a monday morning

Al try it
Seen it all. I only go for the good looking ones.

Exhausted after the weekend. But always good to go... ;)

@kingy I do t know if you have the space or financial means but it appears time has become a big factor. Why not get yourself a bit of home gym equipment. Power rack bench Oly bar and plates. Couple of resistance bands and if your feeling flush some powerblock dumbells. Everything you need to hit a quick workout. You wouldn't feel guilty about leaving the mrs and kids as technically your in the back garden or garage. Do as much or little as you can be arsed to do. Sometimes I'll go into the garage do 5 sets of chins and dips super setted and then come back in. Quick upper body workout 20 mins maybe. Pumped up no grief.
I'm such a tout for home gyms I'm like a broken record but I genuinely think if you can afford it and have even a bit of spare space it's worth having some kit. Even if you still mainly go to a gym. There is the odd day when you just can't be arsed to get in your car drive 15 mins be surrounded by dicks on phones then drive back home.

Sounds unhealthy IMO, thinking about training all of the time. I just get in there, hit it hard and get to fook.

I have the perfect wife and kids, not sure why that would merit a lack of training. Puzzled.

Fair enough, that is your choice, enjoy life as you see fit.

I have missus and two kids, fits perfectly IMO.
