60K is a fucking good wage where I'm from, what makes OP think he even can or that he actually deserves to earn that working three days a week?
You forgot this is TM and can only post if your tax code is d0

In such a big company it's easy to get lost in the shuffle.
You find yourself on a random project, it's so minute, niche and a free ride. Nobody wants to get if that gravy train so they separate themselves as much as possible and when asked questions just make up bs. Effectively beyond reproach and answerable to nobody.
We also employ a lot of people that are good at playing the system, carve out roles that nobody quite knows what it is but it's easier just to turn a blind eye than question them.
Many like to run with the foxes and hunt with the wolves.
You have the jobs for the boys...
Finally we have the billy bull shit crew, talk a good game but have no substance.
Add all that up and you get people who are out of touch and a drain to the business. We make crazy profits but also hemrige money at a silly rate.

Lol that was a rhetorical question mateDat accounting background comes out
Sounds to me Like the management structure isn't properly in place in all honesty?
I understand that there must be loads of different little projects but with a decent structure everybody should be accountable....
I'm guessing it's not the normal hierarchical approach at your place... sounds like to many niches to be like that. Needs to be more holocratical but I'm assuming it is?
As you say if you enjoy your life and you're good at your role why get bothered about it? Don't need to do you.
Lol that was a rhetorical question mate
Why it happens, I don't know for sure. I think it's multifaceted. We made 5.7billion pounds profit last year so I guess the powers that be are happy and don't want to rock the boat too much.
We also have big changes in directors fairly frequent, they all seem fairly young. Dive in and then realize what a cluster fuck it is. Stay for 2-3 years on 3million a year and then leave with the golden handshake.
No real incentive for change TBH.
What margin is that profit?
Why ain't you a director chap? My only question
Nude cleaning pays around £45 an hour.
No requirement to be in shape. Just naked.
