Does anyone think Thor will not win again this year? he seems to be on fine form again.
Be interesting to see the battle for 2-5, Licis, Kieliszkowski, and Shaw will be up their, plus Stoltman, big Loz & Adam Bishop could also be pushing for it too. Can;t help notice how the qualifier heats are set up to keep the big names separate :

    Group 1
    Hafthor Julius Bjornsson (Iceland)
    Raffael Gordzielik (Germany)
    Rob Kearney (USA)
    Zake Muluzi (Great Britain)
    Luke Stoltman (Great Britain)

    Group 2
    Adam Bishop (Great Britain)
    Sigfus Fossdal (Iceland)
    Konstantine Janashia (Georgia)
    Robert Oberst (USA)
    Andreas Stahlberg (Sweden)

    Group 3
    Martins Licis (USA)
    Mikhail Shivlyakov (Russia)
    Aivars Smaukstelis (Latvia)
    Tom Stoltman (Great Britain)
    Eddie Williams (Australia)

    Group 4
    Jean-François Caron (Canada)
    Kevin Faires (USA)
    Mateusz Kieliszkowski (Poland)
    Ole Martin Kristiansen (Norway)
    Laurence Shahlaei (Great Britain)

    Group 5
    Mark Felix (Great Britain)
    Trey Mitchell (USA)
    Oleksii Novikov (Ukraine)
    Jimmy Paquet (Canada)
    Brian Shaw (USA)

I think Thor will win again.
I was hoping he'd do Big Dogs (his coach Seb Oreb said he was probably going to) but he wants to win a few more WSM titles and he is as stong as ever. Can't really see anyone else but Shaw pushing him it all.
Klieszowski (sp) is a machine and will def win a few events but don't think he'll have a big enough points total overall.

Think he's 37. He's still a force to be reckoned with, but had hamstring issues past year or two

Shaw will get injured again at worst and at best perform below his best, he’s not had long enough since his injury i don’t reckon.

Thor should piss it this year really, he’s too far ahead of the rest.

Not true bro. I froze my black neighbour in my chest freezer then hit him with a hammer and he cracked.

Young Tom Stoltman stands more a chance of placing than his brother imo.
Unsure when it happens but he's also due to move to Dubai eat sleep n train strongman via his sponsors. Circa 3-5 month period. So that might be for the build up to WSM

WSM is in a couple of weeks time.
Maybe that's his plan for the 2020 WSM prep? He'll certainly be a contender in future years, with the likes of Larry Wheels, Iron Bibi & Tom, theres some good talent on the way in.
