230kg For 8 Reps Deadlift @16 Years Old

    That was how I worked it out as well. That would mean 180kg total

    Still good lifting for a 16 year old mind

    Garage gym workouts with mixed plates make doing the maths near on impossible.

    I thought it was just one bumper plate with a ridge on it tbh but who knows :lol:

    That’s where my question came from. Didn’t understand the 230 unless it was a 50kg plate

    Very impressive for your age.

    Would of course be much more impressive if done conventional but you have plenty of time to grow out of it :D

    You can't be far off your target now? I've pulled that number and slightly over and not sure I've ever done 230 x 8.
    You also are using a lot of back in that vid so could refine the technique as well as get stronger (and reduce risk of disc issues).

    How are your other lifts?

    Great lifting!! Keep going, train smart to avoid unnecessary injuries and you’ll make decent progress.

    Make sure you do your research, eat well and if you are going to take creatine make sure you do not have a history of anger in the family
