Well done mate!
Just getting to stage from where you were is an acheivement in itself.

Didn’t place today. Very competitive class. Was told I was one of the largest but condition wasn’t what it could have been so plenty to work on for next outing.

Happy with what I brought and in some naughty condition right now which is nice.

Gonna keep the water high and take a super slow rebuild back into regular training. Upping my carbs very gradually to not get a ridiculous rebound.

All in all had a blast of a day and was great to dip my toe back in. Will be certainly coming back leaner, bigger and more focussed next showing. Now time to step into a very productive on point off season for 5/6 months and add some tissue while keeping a tight control on my body.

Thankyou for all your support as it’s helped spur me on a lot in the past few weeks. Lots of love.

Well done mate, great work, looked great, PCA is a high standard
If you're happy with what you brought then a job well done, sometimes there's more to the whole thing than placing
Now time for a good off season, everything you do now is gonna contribute to how you look next on stage

I’m actually gonna refine my physique and get it down to peeled before moving forwards. Some coaches said I was about 3 weeks out with too much mass for the class and should have been in short bodybuilding.
So what I’m gonna do it get condition through and then move into an off-season. Be about another 5 weeks work I think. Which I’m very happy doing so let’s move on with that.

In regards to this journal I’ll keep it updated until I am in actual condition and then start my off-season one.

Again Thankyou all for your kind words and support. Really means the world having this bit of community behind me so thanks again.

As we can see glutes still a little soft. I was 87.5 here so would have been good at about 85 flat so that’s my aim now.

this is my new updated diet and Ped protocol.
Bearing in mind I’ve only been on 10 weeks I have at least 5 more in me before I start to feel unhealthy I think. Will be stopping shit loading and start clean carb loading also will make the diff to bring up calories slightly and make it more achievable.

As we can see a more rounded and tapered approach that should work wonders.
Competing really gave me a taste for what I need to do and made me take it a lot more seriously.

Seems to be a big difference between top and bottom half
Could your legs have some inflammation? Did you continue with cardio in the last week?
Or is it as simple as you just needed more time to bring your legs in

just wasn’t lean enough mate. I did do some weird things with training last week n all. Live and learn lol.

Just on a bar bro. That is a very good exercise. Scapular retraction and mobility is primo.

Just catching up on your log but this peaked me.
Just introduced a sort of reverse shrug (if there is such a thing) jump on a dip station and I suppose you do a Scap dip. Fuck me! What an experience. Have you ever done those?

also l, for some reason I have a fascination of being able to do a handstand currently. I notice you do head stands but recon if anyone’s going to have an idea on how to start it would be you!

So you can reverse shrug from the hanging position while should is in full flexion. Then you can do a shoulder protraction with your scapula in a dip position as you say ( L sit). I use both movements for various objectives in callisthenics yeah.

to start the handstand you need to ideally be able to have 180deg over head shoulder extension and not so necessary is full hamstring flexion to be able to touch toes. When you have this mobility you simply practice holding a locked out arm handstand on a wall. When you can do that for 60s (while looking at your hands). You’ll be able to progress to doing front facing wall stands and then free hand stands :) hope that helps buddy
