Bit AWOL due to travel and shows - long post alert
Japan was awesome - Pro show for Mrs, looked after, crazy fans , posedowns and just top drawer from start to finish. We will DEFINATELY go back again, Mrs in Top 10, hanging out with some cool peeps and a brilliant back stage atmosphere as it was Jose Raymonds last show- and he is plain hilarious....
had client in the Amateur show and she was centre for all of pre judge but ended up coming 2nd..... which was still brilliant in a pro qualifier..
was sick whilst there - im guessing from the airline lounge food which can sit there all day - was on my contest diet but loaded up on the pickles and vegeies from the lounge and a touch of Japanese curry sauce,....
woke up that night after arriving in Japan with terrible stomach ache.,...had shits, went back to bed, woke up 2 hrs later as could feel sick literally racing up my throat, made it to the loo (Japanese heated electric ones with the auto bidet) just in time to be sick - was dark so hit the electronic flush button (on the wall) and instead must have hit the bum cleaner so got a jet of hot water all over my face....had to laugh to myself.... until I realized I had also shat on the floor whilst kneeling over the toilet to be sick..... by this stage mrs had woke up too....so off to a great start... lovely hotel though !
so spent next day in bed.......lost some weight though! which is always handy on a diet....
walked loads, couple of hotel gym workouts, some of the best sushi and wagyu beef ever.... great time al around...
flew back to HK, just did last few days of workouts - feeling crap then got ready for trip to sanya, China (marketed as Chinas Hawaii)
went for low carb day, plus workout
then 1200 carbs plus a pump workout
flew to Sanya next day
arrived and we went straight to my check in and weigh in...made weight for Classic Class 4 (6ft and over) ..... game on
plan was to bhe low carb and some fats that day to keep belly in check then do 2 normal meals on show day
looked flat still - so we added a few hundred carbs
woke up show day - couldn't tell really as was early had breakie then took some in natural light.....defiantely flat no pop so did 40g rice cakes, touch of nut butter and 70g pack of gummi bears (no magic just easy carbs and no bloat)...did this on the hour every hour and checked....3hrs later lookling a bit better....had a mild pump up....still needed more...by this time had ran out of gummis so was rice krispy square with jam and honey again every hour until I could get a decent pump
went over to stage area and was outside....literally the car park of the marina with a huge stage. big crowd ..500 competitors....and a good standard..some ridicuolous Heavies and SHW, and classic was stacked....22 in class below 10 in mine and no obvious weak links, few Iranians, some excellent Chinese and Koreans.....knew this was going to be a tough ask!
weaher conditions changed 3 times during my warm up and strage from 32 degress burning sunshine and humditiy....mean veins everywhere....to cloudy and cool if in shade but bursts of sunshine....then by the time I reached the final warm up and staging area it was plain cold as the sun had gone in....so I kept a t shirt on until literally as I walked up the steps....despite staff telling me off....in china they LOVE to shout and bully everyone but fuck em back stage was poor set up no mirrors, no chairs no weights just whatever you had, and warmup was using the stage scaffolding to attach bands on do chins on.....
came out end of row by number top 3 in my line up were shuffled, I got move in one, then moved to other end...so was being compared to the guys in the top positions....brought out next line , again looked good, brought us all back and compared the top 3, then took 6 of us then in and out the remainder, looked like it was done for me, happy I got there, 10kg almost heavier than last time, looked bigger, felt better and like I belonged which was main thing....got off stage and said to Adri how was I , she said you did good - belonged, Iranian to win (which we said in warmup area) back shot look ed good, posing could have been better , arms a weak point which isn't new. then they posted the finals list up (top 6 only invited back for later ) and fuck me my name was on it, I literally jumped up excited surrounded by loads of people - must have looked a right cunt but bothered.....so had a few hours, had ran out of food by then (amateur mistake)
So Adri went back to get me a Sprite and some pringle type things….and I stayed there as we had 2 girls doing bikini
First one did awesome was middle of call out, so definitely in final, she was super happy….then the other in first call in the Class E, she had come to us a few weeks ago having dropped her name US coach charging 500 bucks a month and making her do 2 hours cardio and 20 rep sets plus zero carbs (and super low fat) for 3 bloody months! She was about to give up but her friend asked if we could help and we made some changes, she dropped a little weight having more food and less cardio….
So she was chuffed also
So now we had finals…me and the 2 girls, Adri pro show was next day
Called us out- no routines as was trying to shave time (awesome!) and did comparisons, I was outside and moved to other end but outside, argument for being better conditioned but arms let me down and he had better for sure….ended up with 6ht place medal in an IFBB Pro Qualifier….so genuinely was happy…Iranian won, a beast of a chinese guy won the class below and then the two small ones were a Korean and a Chinese guy
Bikini final our girl won, was over the moon and invited back to the following day for overalls (here – which I liked – they make the overall a fresh competiton and hand out medals to all the places not just announce the winner and that’s it)
So she is now in with a pro card chance!
Other lady looked great, body wise I had another girl ahead but she poses and carrys herself well, ended up with a way above expectation 3rd place – we were using this purely as a warm up just to get stage time and then do the Taiwan show in a few weeekedns….so she literally thinks we are the worlds best coaches having basically cut her cardio by 2/3rds , given her a carb cycle so she has energy around workouts, and then dropping a few pounds (vs holding weight and going no where) and then getting a pro qualifier placing!
Next day came back for overalls and the pro Show, they were announcing winners then awarding and giving them the option to go into the pro show
Got to number 3 and its not her, so she is top 2 for sure, I had the other girl winning (Russian who was a little harder etc) but no the judges announced the 2nd place as the Russian so im going bananas, adri is back stage in the lineup ready to come out but trying to watch and getting emotional. Loads of tears then she comes off stage to go straight to the line up with Adri and all the girls greeting her which was awesome…there were 3 of the Olympia top 4 there plus 2 other top 15 olympians so basically a whos who and all her idols in the sport. So was great to see….Adri looked awesome, no surprise not in first call (was all the olympais basically) then she was the next name out from the judges in a group of 3 for 2nd call out which was cool …. So everyone happy….great time both on stage and as a coach…..downside is Sanya is SHIT…full of rude Chinese gobbing everywhere and being rude, and the lowest of the low Russians on holiday ….no one speaks English, food just awful….. and the show itself was great but back stage – even for the pros (Bikini and MP) was sit on the floor or find a garden centre plastic chair…no toilets just a coach converted into a ‘piss bus”, no food or water, no shade, open air with wind – which the girls all loved NOT……….. and the power cut out as they were awarding the top 6 hahaha…so the crowd all used their phones as lights actually looked cool and was an experience but we were glad to leave….
MP guys were all pretty cool too some monsters there, many bigger (and better) than a lot of decent bodybuilders….
got 3 days here then we fly to Manila for the Shaun Rhoden Classic….as its pro bikini and MP again (so the same crowd) and ill do another classic show as amateur too….then wind it in for an offseason to try repeat what I did this time…. In terms off adding size… which I need to…..i still had room at the weigh in and didn’t really try hard at all to drop weight to make it…just was in range and minus the water under by 3 kg or so…..so could be heavier still ….. which makes an off season fun
106.8kg this morning, after a gourmet burger and double fries last night after landing.....holding a bit of water too but will come off
will train today, tomorrow and Wednesday, fly Thursday, weigh in Friday, Compete Saturday morning.
plan is, normal training day diet today .....
tomorrow low carb to get that water off
weds 1200 carbs protein around 150g-200g only
thu 800 carbs protein around 150g-200g
fri pro/fat - burger and fries for last meal .....
show day - dependant on wake up time and if schedule stays same...then 1 meal of chicken and rice for breakie
then just nibbles on few rice cakes or gummis to stay full until stage time... if it gets delayed about we may make that 2 meals then nibble..... depends how I look and also the schedule
will use a 1/4 dyazide 25/50 pre bed and poss again show day if needed and the schedule moves
for Sanya used a 1/4 pre bed and another 1/4 around 1pm as the day got longer - which wasn't planned
Drugs currently are test E 300 once a week (Saturday) plus 200mg Mast E
the standard prop/mast/tren 100mg of each in blend EOD.....
80mg Winny oral split 40/40 AM and PM
100mg Proviron 50/50 AM and PM
this week Halo is now in 30mg a day split 15mg/15mg and is literally only for 7 days and replaces Anavar

This was the Sanya (China) IFBB Pro Show and Pro Qualifier... this weekend is the Shawn Rhoden Classic which has again an IFBB Pro Show and Pro Qualifier...this is in the Philipines....so each show is in its own right an international level open show with overall winners of a class getting a pro card...... and having 2 classes (Pro Bikini and Pro Mens Physique) of IFBB Pro in a show on the same card so to speak
in each case the winners of amateur Bikini and MP get a pro card and invited to join the Pro Show of their respective divisions
the winners of Classic, BB, Figure and WP get pro cards but can compete on the same Pro segment of the show as their category isn't on the schedule.
"6ht place medal in an IFBB Pro Qualifier" - if this is a qualifier, surely you have qualified for a finals of some description or is that not how it works?????

no it means I made it through prejudging
in these shows the only people who make it to the evening show are the top 6 - everyone else is out
so was 10 in mine, 22 in the one below, 11 in the second heigh class and a ton in the smallest height
you come out, do comparisons, then the judges move you about
they then say cheers and you exit the stage
you then wait
then they pin up back stage who the top 6 are and you then go back onstage anywahere from 1 hr to a 8 hours later...depending on how its running for your 'final'
its in that portion where they then decide the placing (or verify there decision as its pretty much already done)
and then award the medals after
if you won a class you came back the following day to compete against the other class winners in your chosen category
so the Mens Bodybuilders winners from -60kg to +102kg all come back and line up and comepete...winner of that "overall" competition gets the card
in mine, classic - there are 4 height classes....the 4 winners come back and the overall gets a Pro Card......
so for me I got to the final of my class, and came 6th. the winner of my class went on to the overalls....and came 2nd....the winner from the height class below mine (Class C) got the Win, so he took the pro card and now competes as an IFBB pro

106.6kg so managed to keeping things very stable,
will be having around 1200 carbs tomorrow, no added fats and as little fat content food as poss - so little whey, some chicken and egg white
carbs will be oats, rice, rice cakes, rice chex (a rice cereal), HBCD intra workout (easy 100g of carbs), sorbet, some pototatoes and COR....little bit of honey also....easy
plan is to then have 700-800g Thursday, will check
then similar to today on Friday - plus a steak or burger pre bed (show day is Saturday)
Water high until Friday then reduce and cut off in later afternoon (am indoors as this is at a 5 star casino resort)
Sodium normal, tomorrow and Thursday will be a bit lower, the friday will be low, then add into last meal
