If u design proper volume it will work for everyone.
And cardio days training to ? That's why I'm saying training every day. I know most people don't do it and u don't have to but it's possible and it's just like motivation :D I just love training and count callories and sleep properly. ))

    No it won't
What you advised was everyday training on barely 2000cals
Not sustainable for the vast majority regardless of motivation

@Aleksandr, you own results are great but your advice is terrible.
what's worked for you wouldn't work for the greater majority,

Look at his body fat!!! He can easily do it and get some low calorie dense food to fill him up and go until he at least got 15% body fat and than work on his diet plan. Of course he can.

So after he gets to 15% bodyfat on 2000cals and still has weight to lose
What do you suggest he does?
He's already training every day and eating like a bird

Ok let's say he started doing push pull legs 3 or 6 times a week? Or upper lower body split to start with on the rest days moderate cardio so in total 4 weight training workouts or 3 or 5 or 6 whatever and 140 mins of cardio. 50g of fat 200carbs or 250 to start with lots of fible veggis and stuff and go like this until he got 15% body fat and than just up the carbs until he stops losing weight and keeping it and try to keep it and just keeps Training. It's definitely good for him. He is very high body fat so body will just use it for energy.

He can cut fat to 35 let's say and carbs up to 400g and see how that will work. But that just quick example I'm making it's very easy to adjust. I just gave him fast example of how to get lean physic and athletic looks real quick

In other words he even can do 70 fat if he wants or 80 but than just manipulate with carbs. When he gets 15% of course. So he increase carbs until he noticed that he is not losing weight anymore and just maintain it. So it's good for him and he try to maintain it and keeps Training and progressive overload. Easyyyyy

    This advice is terrible
Of course someone will lose weight if they go straight in on a huge deficit
But the point is, its not sustainable

I would suggest first finding out some important details about the person so a plan can be designed to suit
Not just spout some generic bull shit found on the Internet
