    Training is going very well. Calf and ankle have been a hindrance but I've worked around them best I can.

    Condition is ok and im around 100kg morning weight. Just took a couole of pictures as I jumped out of the shower.

    I am definitely taking on a whole different shape with this style of training.

    He wants to change it up buddy but my calf has fucked it up...couple of weeks and I should be all healed up

    Shit to hear your calf is still playing up.

    Yeah mate, all is well...... apart from hiit this morning being toilet sprints lol

    Looking forward to the changes, gotta check in with weight and measurements friday and take it from there

    I've been a fool. Y not giving it a chance to rest up...i am tbough now, I can't play rugby for 2 1/2 weeks as I'm away, so leaving it alone.

    It's been a while since I've taken the time to update this, and tbh im not sure if it's of interest to anybody these days anyway!

    Things are ok, I did start with scott Francis but I'm kind of doing my own thing now really as I've not heard from him since I've had my injuries (calf and hamstring)

    Getting back into rugby has been really hard work! 2 partial tears on hammer, flare up on an old ankle injury and a strained calf...... getting old is no fucking fun :sad: that said, im on the right road now.

    That said, my fitness is very good now. Sitting around 100kg and I can do intervals where I go full bore for 3 to 4 mins, 1 min rest and go again...then repeat for 4 or 5 times. Heart rate is usually around 160 on full tilt but comes right down to into 130's by the end of min rest.

    Weights wise, Std bodybuilding split really. Train 4 days a week and mix heavy weight with high reps to try and cover all basis...not really fixed with exercise, kinda just go with how I'm feeling but as always i concentrate on explosive compounds and do a lot of core work (should help with front row rugby)

    This is where I'm at currently condition wise ! No amazing but I can maintain this with a relaxed diet (stick with clean foods during the day and then always have a nice tea with family, and a few little treats of an evening) currently in the process of getting my neck tattooed with roses, just outline right now but they start to get coloured in next week
