Who on here if anyone weight trains and boxes?

Do you compete at both levels ?

How do you find the crossover recovery and injury wise?

Can it be done I suppose is the main question?

Dunno about 'bodybuilding' and boxing, but certainly weight training and boxing can be done together.

If your natty or not comes into it I guess.

And whichever is more important as one will prob have to take priority ime

Do u compete in bodybuilding currently or going to?

Would u be wanting to box as in fight or just learn some tech and fitness?

Well I’d like to do both if possible but I haven’t done in either

I wanly to compete in BB for sure so maybe either leave the boxing out until I know that I like competing in BB or at least keep the boxing at arms length and just tick it over

I'd focus on the bodybuilding then but maybe just do a bit of bag work to warm up or cool down after weight sessions, wont hurt and will help with fitness.

you cant do both completely opposite ends of the spectrum

weight training to supplement your boxing fine, should be in everyones routines, but your base sport should be the focus, anything else is supplementary.

if you just a hobbyist in both then cool do as you please

but you cant truly Bodybuild and be a competitive fighter..... nor vice versa

If you were to try BB'ing and boxing seriously then if you take gear you may have to watch your body weight which could cause you problems in your competitive BB'ing, Your weight is extremely important for boxing,

Just something to think about bud, GL with your journey.

you cant do both seriously...opposite ends of the spectrum entirely - weight train and fight sports sure - actual full on BB competitively and fighting at a high level competitively.....nah.

As @noel Says they are contradictory to each other.

Best thing is get it out of your system, go to your nearset boxing gym and get mullered sparring with teenagers then leave it there
Unless you are well under 21 probably too late for anything serious.
