Becks' Much Needed Transformation 2017

    Have posted the pics up for the comp.
    To say I am mortified would be an understatement!

    Serious motivation though!

    I'm 92.4kg which is also not good. Hoping some of that is from eating a load of rubbish over Xmas.

    Basic plan is
    2000 cals a day.
    160g protein.
    Up my water intake
    Train 3-4 times per week
    Add cardio as necessary

    Training wise I'm trying to increase strength on the 3 big lifts. Hopefully get a bit of muscle in the process.

    Any other ladies entering this?

    Food is going well. Got myself organised and cooked up a load of chicken meals a couple of days ago.
    Upping the water is hard work as I don't really like the taste. Needs must though.
    Had a decent little leg workout today.
    Just squats, leg press and leg extensions. Legs felt suitably wobbly on the way to the car though.

    Hitting protein targets quite easily at the moment.
    Upper body session yesterday, legs were in bits!

    Are you going to be watching the scales or the mirror? I find the mirror is the best way forward.

    I'm using the scales as a guide but mirror/pics are the main goal.

    Why don't you flavour the water with some sugar free diluting juice. Makes it much easier to get it down.

    I don't really like the taste of artificial sweetener (except Cherry Pepsi Max ).
    Will give it a try though.

    Day off yesterday plus some much needed sleep.
    Trained deadlifts with a friend today.
    Went light but all good so will be upping these next workout.

    Her gym is a Fit4Less so I wasn't expecting much but it was pretty good. It is quite new though so see how quickly stuff gets fixed/replaced.

    Also threw in some conditioning bits and pieces plus trained arms for the first time in about 5 months.

    Fairly leisurely weekend, kept the food on point which I was pleased with.

    Last night back started twinging for no good reason. Thought I'd just been sitting funny.
    Got up for work this am and it was very unhappy. Spent 10-15mins doing some light stretches which helped slightly.
    Work was not fun!
    Haven't gone to the gym today but going to see how it feels tomorrow.

    On a positive note I am now 91.0kg (-1.4kg) so the scales are going the right way

    Back seemed to feel better yesterday evening.
    Woke up this morning and it was in bits.
    Thought it would feel better once I'd started moving about so went to work anyway. I was wrong!
    Have an appointment at the physio tomorrow so hopefully sortable. Feeling very pissed off at the moment though.

    Lol, believe me the fact that the start pics were hidden was a big reason for me doing the transformation.

    No added sugar squash is the way forward. I'd rather have that in there to get the extra water in during the day

    I have invested in a bottle of no added sugar Ribena which is helping. Still have to make myself drink rather than just doing it because I want to though.
