The only difficult/hard part about Body Building is the diet and the drugs IMO.......
I got made to do a bit of boxing in the forces, but I wasn't very good and usually got hammered - I can say without doubt that Boxing is far harder than lifting weights.
In fact I will go on to say that IMO most sports are 'harder' than BB (diet and drugs excluded) as they usually involve a weights conditioning programme.
Look at it this way:
Rugby - Lift heavy weights, CV, drills and then go out an play a game getting smashed to bits.
Boxing - Lift weights, loads of CV and conditioning then get in a ring where some bloke is trying to knock your head off.
Judo - Lift heavy weights, CV and drills, then go out and fight some bloke who is either trying to strangle, break one of your arms, or smash you head first into the ground.
Body Building - Lift heavy weights minimal CV then smother yourself in marmite, pop on a pair of budgie smugglers and wander about on a stage with some music playing.
That is all
