People are already paying heavy Sky subscriptions. The fight is funded by Saudi oil money. I wonder whether they are bumping it up as, if AJ loses, end of the gravy train?

I'm going Ruiz as well. Very rarely does the loser win a rematch imo. Ruiz is gonna be even better this time isnt he

Im not as sure anymore tbh K, Joshua seems to have his head screwed on for this rematch

But I’ll stick with Ruiz though provided he doesn’t come in too light

Ruiz also, should be a great fight though. Undercard looks shite imo. An old povetkin vs micahel hunter, shite fight. If dillian returns it wont be against a big name either

Rationale behind AJ winning the rematch.

AJ didn’t take the fight seriously enough. He came in too big and heavy. He was playing about with Ruiz during press conferences, talking about Wilder.

AJ had too much preWO. The way he looked on way to ring and in the ring pre-fight looked as though he was on MDMA. Too much Halo can produce a similar effect.

Even so, AJ knocked Ruiz down in the 3rd. A more measured AJ, not rushing in, could easily have finished him.

AJ didn’t respect Ruiz’s power. Same point as above really.

AJ will have trained for speed, coming in lighter and more nimble (weighed 248lbs last time out, will he come in at 240lbs?). He will box more at range, AJ has a 20cm range advantage. Even though Ruiz is fat, his gas tank is decent. Even so, I expect AJ to KO him between R6-9 after systemically breaking him down.

    AJ 4/9
    AR 5/2
    Draw 50/1

Rumours that AJ is getting 80m and Ruiz 13m!!
