Bulking up

This is probably one of the most stupidest questions ever asked before

I’m currently on a cut I’ve gone from 17st 6lb to 15st 9lb

I’m trying to lose a bit more , then eventually do a bulk

The thing I want to ask is , at my heaviest 17st 6lb

I fucking hate it , I hate being fat / overweight etc . And I struggle with the weight

Is bulking completely different to carrying that weight in fat?

Muscle rather then fat , I want to get big but don’t want to struggle with it
If that makes sense

To me at least if feels completely different.

Fat distribution is one factor. If you gain weight it will disproportionately be located in certain areas. Carrying more timber around your middle compared to hopefully muscle spread all over your body makes a huge difference.
Another factor is health. Carrying excess BF just doesn’t make you feel good where as having a better body composition just feels healthier both physically and mentally if that makes sense.
