Yeah building your body for health.
A bit extra muscle is very healthy, doesn't mean we NEED to enjoy showing it off.
Come lets be honest most of us are lacking intellectually some where just like the really attractive show-off girls are.

The idea of looking how men wish ythey looked (whether they admit iot or not) is a thought that I like

I always get uncomfortable with attention, even though Rab hates me he will confirm I stay covered up 95% of the time, this is not why I train - but each to their own like, not judging.

The obvious exception for me is kids. They are so honest with their reactions

I was working on the car one day last summer, was roasting so had a vest on. Kid up the road comes up to me and asks "are you strong". I said "a little...."... he said "show us your muscles", so I popped a bicep (keep in mind I was hovering around show condition) - it was hilarious, he started hyperventilating and repeating over and over "wow wow wow your dead strong your dead strong"

Got to love kids, so honest in their reactions.

I would have said "not bad but i used to be about that size without any of those protein shakes and a mate of mine is twice your size and benches 400kg"

I must state for the record this kid was about 8 or so

If his mate could bench press 400kg, well, that would be something

99% of the time you get the wrong type off attention like "how much do you bench mate". Everyone gets it even if not neccessarily big by bodybuilding standards.

I think alot of it boils down to exactly the above.

I hate seein someone bigger than me, more so if I know/knew them from school.

I'm not big but i have mates that are and even though they like the attention off the women sometimes blokes can be real d1cks about it.

"bet your not even that strong, tiny dick, making up for something, all water, blah blah blah...."
