Cheat meal

During a reverse diet phase would 1 cheat meal every Sunday cause me to gain to much fat ? And by cheat meal I mean outside of my calorie limit.

It depends on a few factors, mainly how far above your maintenance that cheat meal takes you and how the rest of your week looks.

During a reverse diet, the goal is to slowly increase calories to restore metabolism without putting on excess fat. If you’re staying consistent and controlled during the week, one cheat meal on Sunday isn’t likely to ruin progress, especially if it’s just a meal, not an all-day binge.

That said, if the cheat pushes you way over your weekly calorie balance (e.g., 1500+ extra calories in one sitting), it could slow things down or add unnecessary fat gain over time. The key is moderation: enjoy the meal but try not to blow the whole week's progress.

Good luck!
