    I did this yesterday and the gear was fine. this morning it had crashed again. so looking for a longer term solution.

    I put a plate with gold leaf in there once. Was sparking up.

    The long term solution is to bring your gear in out of the cold.
    At this time of the year the nights can get very cold, gear that isn't generally stable will crash at the slightest chill, get it in and keep it warm.

    if you have it buried in the garden sure...

    or put in a cupboard and then when boiling the kettle just do a cup of water, put vial or even in some cases the syring and needle full of gear in, leave for 30 secs, the oil is way smoother and easier to go in, used to do that with the bayer Test E vials as that was thick, made injections miles quicker
