Any thoughts/comments on using creatine powder for the first time?
Use the standard creatine monohydrate (it's the most researched), 5g per day per day, timing doesn't matter but if you're already using any shakes (e.g. pre or post training shakes) then it would make sense to add it with that to prevent forgetting to have it. No need for a loading phase.
As above 5g a day. Get the cheapest as it's all the same.
Ever heard the phrase
If you've got nothing constructive to say
Dont say anything
Lol in fairness that was one of the few times I found Lee’s comment quite funny. Not much you can say constructively about creatine is there? Take it. Don’t take it. If your diet’s on point I’d say it’s next to useless.
acts as a mild GDA if used intra...so some benefit...for the price 5g a day is well worth it. 1kg tub lasts 200 days..
It's been proven in research to help but nothing that you're going to notice much at the time. I use it at 5g/day as it's cheap and can't see any downsides. As has already been said, start off with Creatine Monohydrate and only look at the different types if you have stomach issues.
Yeah fair enough. If you’re an athlete or a competitor then it’s a no-brainer. I just play down it’s effectiveness because some newbies seem to think it’s going to turn them into Arnie.
it will LOL
Yeah but we can’t let THEM know that!
Welllll, this thread has convinced me to give this stuff a go again. Wish me luck chaps...
