    wide grip upright rows are more of a mass builder but good to really pack on the beef . Because of the range of motion no shoulder impingement

    I like this exercise
    Good on the Smith too for some extra stability
    Don't see many people doing it coz they get told its a dangerous exercise which I disagree with
    And those that do it use a narrow grip as it's easier not realising there is not much shoulder involvement once your elbows get past chest level

    I just press now but agree wider grip upright row is an awesome delt buider, you can do it seated as well, strict as fvck that way.

    I shall also give this a crack then. Really enjoy all shoulder exercises bar behind the head military press as it feels like my shoulder is going to pop out haha

    Loved that way stand a few inches away from the bar and the constant tension is crazy.

    @pooley1810 & mal good idea on the smith. The Smith machine gets a bad rap at times but it´s just knowing how to use it.

    That was pretty much my workout front seated press on smith then into the upright rows, dont need much weight on that, delts were fried.

    I second smith upright rows no higher then chest. Decent rep range too. I did sets of 15 and delts and traps both gained size and would be on fire. Can be a little awkward on wrists sometimes though
