I have the opportunity to pick one up reasonably cheap but I've never tried one and can't get to try this one as I will be collected by someone else if I buy. Have people used it. It's not a cybex model but I think similar or same design. I've read a few positives saying feels better than 45 degree normal one. image.jpeg

My gym has one similar, everyone calls it fhe 'easy' leg press as you can press about 200kg more than a normal one with it lol

There is one of these at one of the gyms I train at, it's a decent bit of kit. I prefer it to the conventional leg press. The one at our gym is harder than the normal one though

Yeah I quite like using it for single leg press but it's the last one I would go too out of the 3 leg presses we have

Used one some time ago and yeah it allows you to load more weight on and feels 'easy' in comparison to an 45 % job.
Kinda a nice action but felt less effective somehow.

I'd sooner have one that required far less plates if I was the one buying plates to load it up. :)

Cheers @Reacher ive actually got a hammer style horizontal and that thing at 3-4 plates per side is brutal. Feels like 7-8 plates on a 45 degree

I prefer this machine by a mile. The normal 45 degree irritates my sciatic nerve. This doesn't whatsoever.

Was going to mention this as well, normal leg press has me in a horrible position at the bottom and hurts my back where as squat press doesn't

Yeah theyre very good for single leg press. Can rest your other leg on the bottom bit.

I use them all the time at emporium

I never go heavy enough on leg press to justify cheating :D.

One of my mates does it all the time, boasts to people he can do 450kg for reps but if he's wearing a vest all you can see it veins and muscles contracting in his chest and arms
