You can lose up to a quarter of the final selling price to fees using Ebay. It costs to put in a reserve and use Buy it now so can be expensive. Also take in to account whether you are going to offer postage on the items-probably not practical if selling weights. Also selling on Ebay can be frustrating if selling as a simple auction as 99% of the bidding takes place on the last few minutes so you find yourself watching like a hawk sweating that your item is going to go too cheap.

I would put a realistic value on the items and have a go on Gumtree selling as a job lot with buyer to uplift, cash sale. Gumtree is free with no charges so nothing to lose if it doesn't sell.

Last thing I sold on Gumtree was gone in 15 minutes (ad uploaded to phone call that buyer is coming to pick it up) so can be good.

Start with gumtree and a few forums, facebook. If you do resort to ebay, I would avoid doing it as an auction and put up a buy it now. Adding a reserve makes it very very costly.

Local buy and sell pages on facebook are a good bet, keep posting everyday for free until somebody makes an offer, also good as they are local so arranging collection is easier.
