    All done slow paused for a min 2CT

    Pec / Fly Machine

    Rope hammer curls

    Rope Tricep pushdowns

    Off to Wigan tomoz for Boro Match normally be a day on the lash but on day 30 today

    Ride out earlier as well.

    Weight same as last week not dieting by any means but obvs not drinking is freeing up cals

    Nah not really not ripped anyway got abb outlines etc but looks as if he’s put a few pound in since I last seen him last summer hence the reason he’s dieting.

    Sunday morning session away in Wigan so with this no drinking lark I’m up before Mrs n kids so went across to the gym across the road same as mine at home so no cost either.

    Woke up with rear shoulder pain like a nervy pain I get it every few Month lasts a few days

    Rear shoulder still niggly with a nervy type pain so sticking to machines as feel in control

    5 min treadmill walk

    Supine bench press (weight a side)
    12 x 25kg x 4 sets

    Matrix incline press (weight a side)

    Matrix shoulder press (weight a side)
    12 x 20kg x 4 sets

    Could feel nervy feeling on everyone of these reps right side wasn’t as powerful.

    Just a short session as it’s the Mrs bday and only dropped her off at the beauty clinic.

    Planned to go to Somerset next week for 8 wks home every other weekend but been asked to go to Kent again for my 1st stint doesn’t make much difference but better for gym & biking about.

    Rear shoulder still niggling away been in a bit of pain today took some paracetamol a few times got a massage booked Friday upper body only as you can’t massage legs with DVT in case it breaks the clots.

    Tonight

    5 mins treadmill walk

    Matrix pull down (weight aside)
    20 x 25kg x 5 sets

    Incline BB bench press
    8 x 60kg x 5 sets

    EZ bicep curls +20kg
    12, 12, 12,12

    Set of 2.5kg side raises in between curls just for a good stretch.

    Rear delt / fly machine
    12 x 25kg x 4 sets

    10 min treadmill walk

    Had a 3 course meal last night for Mrs bday was in bed at 10pm in food coma still no drink did plan on having a pint last night but didn’t bother #35 days now catching you up HG

    Well mate the thing is I can’t really push myself at the minute as I’m on blood thinning tablets it’s easier to faint or pull or tear muscles which is bad news for me!!! so just gotta take it easy really but YES I am feeling good obvs the medication knocks me a little bit But i don’t feel at all tired in the gym against when drinking certain days I would still be tired now I’m not tired any days.

    Certainly not as bloated even tho weight hasn’t moved much (but been eating more last two week) people have said I look like I’ve lost weight when in reality I’ve only lost a few pound.

    Hello mate

    Just been having a read, I got my first dvt in January 2016 and another last August. On apixiban twice a day for life. I continued drinking and other stuff all the way through and bled out 4 pints of blood from both ends due to the tablets.

    so well done on not drinking, a few won't hurt but getting drunk is dangerous. Did you get a rash through the medication? My right leg looks dead now!! Hope the pain is away, took me about a month of hobbling about but now its completely fine. You'll soon forget you have it, the new tablets are excellent.

    Good to hear you’re still alive and kicking.

    Yeah I’m on apixaban twice a day as well but been told of a few professionals that it’s a drug not to be messed about with so sort of doing as I’m told really.

    Yeah I got told you can drink but only a max 2 drinks so I can’t be arsed with just two so not bothered one night I might have to give in to a nice cold bottle of leffe though

    I’m 5 wks into it now and only really hobbled the first two weeks you wouldn’t know now by seeing me walk but my calf is still swollen to the side it was when diagnosed and still quite hard to touch but relevantly pain free but after a few days I did get a rash and showed a few pics to a nurse friend and she said she didn’t think it was to do with the drugs or DVT but it went after 4-5 days but can still see here the rash was tho.
