    Hi Folks,

    another year is here so yet another log :rofl::lol:

    2017 weight training wasn't the best, sort of lost the love of it and wanted to see the summer as well so only really trained from Jan-May, Oct-Dec and that wasn't to any plan.

    Few of you know i like biking so will keep that up managed to do 1047 mile in 2017 so aim is to beat that this year as well.

    Already booked two sprint Duathlons run/cycle/run roughly 5k 20k 3k distances so nothing to dramatic those are March & April.

    Plan is too increase the weights again this year (hopefully hitting previous levels) whilst maintaining fitness at a decent level, also got a summer holiday booked in August.

    Current weight is around 17st 108kg

    all time lifts
    Bench 3 x 150kg
    Squat 1 x 227.5kg
    Deadlift 1 x 250kg

    2017 rough guide to lifts

    Back squat
    5 x 160kg up to a 200kg single

    Safety squat bar
    8 x 122.5 up to 4 x 155kg

    Bench
    9 x 120kg up to 5 singles 140kg

    Incline bench
    10 x 110kg

    Deadlifts
    6 x 190 up to 235kg

    just bought a Cambered squat bar so now got a few bars at home so would imagine any squatting will be done at home whilst i'm working at home not due to be away again till end of April but then pretty much away the rest of the year.

    Little bit done today

    This morning 14kg weighted vest walk with kids

    Cambered squat bar.
    5 x 65kg
    5 x 70kg
    5 x 75kg
    5 x 85kg
    5 x 95kg
    5 x 105kg
    5 x 110kg

    Last set 5 x 110kg easy done.



    Knock these up a bit next session.

    Rammed gym tonight so just got what I could

    Flat bench
    8 x 50kg
    8 x 70kg
    8 x 85kg
    8 x 100kg x 2 sets
    7 x 100kg

    SOHP
    8 x bar
    8 x 30kg
    8 x 50kg
    8 x 55kg
    8 x 50kg x 2 sets

    Inc DB press
    8 x 28kgs
    8 x 34kgs
    5 x 38kgs

    Then a 10 min run on treadmill

    Squats at home tonight even wore my Adidas Power Perfects

    Normal back squats with TPB
    8 x bar
    8 x 60kg
    8 x 80kg
    5 x 100kg
    5 x 120kg
    5 x 140kg felt heavyish

    Cambered bar squat
    5 x 65kg
    5 x 105kg
    5 x 125kg had to rack after 4 as bar was slipping down back then did last rep
    1 x 145kg

    Good gauge tonight to see where my squat lies as hardly squatted since May last year when I hit a 200kg single for the last time.

    Hoping to get a spare hour during the day tomorrow so might pop and do some arms.

    Little bonus session today as had works medical this morning then there was a site muster so no need to go to work till lunchtime.

    BP This morning was 128/74 weighed in at 107kg and not 75kg as in 1997

    Hopefully do some kind do CV tonight.
