Keto Diet - Food List

I only have 60g on non training days, I could quite easily make these days 0
but it wouldn't really achieve anything as on training days I have 150g, I've
never actually done a keto, can't think I'd enjoy it tbh.

Helpful thread though, with the foods

Its easier than it looks, eating 60g for me would probably be harder than eating none

As you get a taste for it ha

Bacon salt and baconnaise are good additions as well, just in case you get fedup with steamed veg all the time.

This is a useful list of foods so have stickied the thread. Thanks Raptor.

No problem, i'll add some recipes... got another decent one that i keep doing.

500g Minced Steak, it doesn't really have to be lean on keto as you need your fats but i always prefer quality mince
I then put in to a bowl and add any herbs and spices that you like, for me i add chilli powder, pepper and a couple
a nice shake of Bisto granules (a couple of oxo cubes does the job) Yes this does make it a little high in salt but much
of the stuff on the keto diet is low salt because you can't eat bread or anything like that anyway.

I mix in to a dough and often add Jalepenos... i then get 1/2 the mixture which is about 250g and flatten in to a square
i put this on the George Foreman with some olive oil until cooked, its delicious and i serve with nuts... if you were using
high fat mince then you would not need as much nuts. Sometimes i serve with a salad with a heavy olive oil dressing.

And a quick tip for any George Foreman users, this will save much time.... every time i use my Foreman i pull off a piece
of tin foil from the roll, fold in 1/2 and add some oil for grease... i then slot this inside the george foreman and there you
have it, a george foreman that doesn't need cleaning... just throw the foil in the bin when done. Enjoy.

Just to add with that one ^ the Bisto really makes it awesome, and you can cook the whole 500mg or
even 1kg worth in the oven as a big meat loaf, and it comes out really nice too... mushrooms inside
go really well if you do cook it as a big meat loaf, needs to be wrapped in a tin foil pocket if you do

Yeah its good the meatloaf mate, and thats odd how it differs so much with flavours....

I'll edit the OP to mention this, cheers

Nice one budd, i can't get the damn stuff over here... may place a big order off the Low Carb Megastore
because for me, low carbs is the way forward no matter what im doing... works a treat !

Im jel, eggs are something i really want to like... especially because they are so handy on Keto but
for some reason i just don't really like them, i can have 1 or 2 with a full english but thats about it
I tried having 6 eggs for breakfast on a keto diet once and felt sick after egg no2

I can have the odd omelette full of ham and mushrooms but still not a big fan tbh :/

Coke zero does have caffeine.
It's just a slightly sweeter version of diet coke marketed for men. like pepsi max

Here is a good one. I have found this awesome for filling up on a keto cut.

I found this stuff for 42p a pot in Sainsbury's.

So here's what you do,

Get some celery sticks, and scoop up the pate and eat it, and it's amazingly satisfying.

Now here's the good bit, I don't have a pot on me, but IIRC it's a little under 17g of Protein per 100, and around 13g fat. So per pot that's approx

19g of Protein
15g of Fat

Per pot, all for 42 pence.

Oh, what about carbs? IIRC about 0.3g per 100, so less than half a gram per pot.

Tuck in keto dudes!

Edit: Nutritional confirmation here http://www.ocado.com/webshop/product/Sutherland-Yorkshire-Potted-Beef/37032011 - Looks like I did recall correctly.
