Id put Khans war with Maidana above Brooks win against Porter.

Khans resume includes Maidana, Garcia, Peterson, Judah, Alexander and now Canelo. He may not of won all of them but thats a decent resume and shows he will fight anyone anywhere.

Brooks resume is just Porter, the rest are nobodys.

I dont blame Brook for it at all, Hearn is all about the money and the sell to the casuals. Hes doing the same with Joshua who will probably fight Chisora next even though he lost last night.

Has a fairly successful business in Leeds, last I heard.

I think Chris is still in contact with him?

Aj will fight that guy who's just beat Chisora last night. It's all the commentators spoke about.

I think we all agree to a degree Brook can box & he's taken care of every opponent convincingly but Hearn has held him back. I can't see how he continue to hold him back now tho. He's at a real cross roads, it's time to go across the pond or O2 , Brammel lane vs Khan. Bigger venues against higher calibre opposition.

Khan was far from poor. You can win fights 'running away'...Floyd made a career out of it!

Khan looked good, but as usual his boxing IQ and defence let him down. His chin isn't complete glass as most make out - he took some solid shots well until getting caught by a monster of a shot he didn't see. Props to him for taking the fight.

Why are people saying props for taking the fight?

He got 9 million!!! Fought against someone who everyone knew would win. It was a no lose situation for him.

Also khan ain't maywether. He doesn't have the defensive capabilities.

Because he took a massive risk against a far bigger and better opponent. I love a risk taker, someone who puts it all on the line and goes for broke. Knowing you're pretty much guaranteed to lose and in devastating fashion, but still going ahead with it. Takes balls.

I didn't say he was Mayweather. I simply said that you can win fights/be winning a fight even if you're running away.

Go to vegas and fight Canelo on cinco de mayo weekend and winning the fight on the cards at the end of the 5th. Thats balls. Hes rightly getting praise from people in the boxing world for not turning it down. Remember ODH offerd Khans team the fight, not the other way round.

Stay in sheffield and fight jojo dans of this world. Hmmm

Khan's boxing skills were better than canelos imo. As the pundits said, his natural boxing skills could never be matched by canelo so he had to wait for a mistake, granted he made the best of khan's mistake but that was some fucking punch, ain't no one getting up after that but he did take a few serious punches before in the fight.

Fair play to both boxers I say, won't of done khan's rep any harm what so ever

    Don't be an idiot

It takes balls to take the fight when you know there's a very good chance you'll be flat lined in front of millions of people, it takes even bigger balls to go out on your shield throwing shots and actually winning the fight when you know your probably gonna get flat lined, it's not like he did a fraudley and turned up and didn't throw a punch before getting ko'd because he was so paralysed with fear, and that's actually the easier option, the "cowardly" way out if you can call it such a thing

Thats what's earned the respect of people in the sport. That's the difference

I'm not the biggest Kahn fan but he's a true fighter, if you can't see that you don't know shit about boxing

Lol don't be an idiot, please!

Not for one minute am I or, have I said khan is a bad boxer. He's accomplished a lot.

However, for 9 million doesn't take guts to get in the ring as a huge underdog.

Anyone who said they wouldn't go in a boxing ring for 9 million is an idiot. Laughable.

You missed my point about the difference in having the balls to turn up for a pay day like your talking about and having the balls to take the fight against a bigger man with a massive strength/power advantage and actually fight and throw punches essentially opening yourself up to those shots

    There's a massive difference

And you'd be suprised how many people would turn down 9 million to turn up and basically get knocked out, believe it or not some people actually worry about brain trauma etc. and value their health over money

Obviously ain't as hard as you though are they mate lol

I boxed from a school boy at quite a high level and then went on to be a sparring partner at a very high level and these tools that say they'd fight anyone for a few quid are jokers. Tyson, for example would break an average mans neck with half decent punch. That'll be worth it wouldn't it. Dreamers
