Knee Joint Pain

Possibly debunked I suppose

I just know when I do them they are agony, even with a light weight
it´s like sissy squats some can´t do them, me included. I know when i had a cartilage operation on my knee i was told by the physio not to do them(leg extensions) i thought i knew better & they hurt like fuck. can do them now though. I think people get problems if using stupid weights or jerking the weight up. not sure. Hack machine squats are another exercise that can for some people be painful. I honestly think leg press is one of the safest exercises you can do. can move your feet to get hammies in there too. just my opinion though. not a Pro !

Hack squats really aggravate any knee issues i have
Its a shame as its a good exercise and I've really tried to make it work
But no matter where I put my feet or angle the platform I get some sort of issue
Leg press I get no issues though

Yeah might pay private for specialist knee consultant.
Its worth seeing a good sports therapist first
There's every chance your knee problems are caused by bad posture, technique or muscle imbalance
A good therapist will tell straight away where the problem stems from and advise how to rectify it

Went to see nhs Dr this morning. Said to ease off heavy squats and try the deadlift exercise. Also said to spk to coach at gym to develop some exercises. Altogether a waist of time just pass the buck.
