    Woke up an hour late so had to rush everything.

    Squats were alrite, nothing much to report really.

    Bench was ok, very happy with the 140kg set but my set up could've been a little tighter, felt like I wasnt quite shifting the load to frame.

    Saying that my legs were shaking like a dog shitting razor blades when I got off the bench lol

    Done and dusted for the week.

    Time for some medicinal herbs over the weekend...to aid protein synthesis and cns recovery...

    So first weigh in, I had some cheats over the weekend, so weighed in at 18st, 3lb loss, all good.

    Great pressing session this morning, the initiation into big boy weights as far as dumbbells go.

    Flat Dumbbell Press

    per side

    30kg x10
    40kg x8
    60kg x5 - almost lost it on the second rep, these fuckers are awkward as fuck!
    60kg x5 - smoother
    60kg x1 - lol wait, wut? My grip was slightly off and set up wasn't quite right, these fuckers don't move for shit when everything else isn't in place

    +40kg x5 - had more in the tank

    Summary

    Really enjoyed this, I knew it was going to be a tough one. The 60kg dumbbells are bloody awkward to get into position, you use of up so much energy before you're even in a position to press the damn things.

    Final set was funny, just went from 5 reps to nope. Set up was off and as said those things just don't move unless you're stable.

    Amazing the difference 2.5kg makes, 57.5kg last week felt real comfortable.

    Dips were pretty straight forward and I had more in the tank but I wanted to get a little more overhead press volume in and also had the bench at the back of my mind.

    Have to enjoy this strength while I can because maintaining these numbers across the board deeper into a cut will be a tall order.

    First things first, never use an app called strengthcalc, it royally fucked up my deadlift programming, so I've had to dial things back.

    Im not fussed though.

    Made a few adjustments trying to limit the amount of hip movement just before I initiate the pull.

    Working weight was nice and smooth, speed pulls straight forward. My work capacity has improved through this routine.

    Circuit was a ballache, that will never change lol

    Felt all functional today so included some kettlebell swings lol Fucking hard but I enjoyed them!

    Did a few squats, nothing special, worked on a few bits with a powerlifting stance.

    Did aome hack squats to justify it being a leg day lol

    Bench practice

    Decided on trying some close grip pin presses, dead stop, height off chest equivalent to a 1 board press I think.

    Much harder than I thought to get the bar moving.

    Decent effort; just couldnt get my set up right for dumbbells.

    Had to keep kicking my leg out for balance on the 62's, then they suddenly went "nope, we aint moving".

    It was a bit of a downhill struggle from there really with the dumbbells, have tk waste so much energy getting them to where you need.

    Dips were all smooth and pretty straight forward.

    I dont care much for the presses but hoping to move towards 60kg per side.

    Bench was real good, genuine 5 reps this time without a spot on the last rep. Especially pleased after all the heavier pressing beforehand.

    Warm ups felt sluggish, so wasnt too hopeful, so I decided no to hang about in the lock out position.

    Decent stuff all round, vids later.
