Oh right, I though it was factual mate. I'll check it out anyway....

Mainly because I'm lazy to be honest. I'll happily read Building magazine etc which benefits me for work but I've never been a bid reader for pleasure.

It really does help with education and it's something I'll be making sure my kids doo!

Think you are getting confused with fiction and nonfiction.

Well I can't argue with that reasoning!

Sorry yeah I miss read your post... it is factual then but some items are debtated as actual facts!

It's something I might focus on to be honest.

Any great factual books you can recommend?

Your best bet is to find an area that interests you then use the Internet. Huge wealth of topics!

I've read a lot of books about gangs, drugs and criminals. Well not a lot about 10 over my 21years of life

I like crime books tbh. Read a good book about Harold Shipman. Fascinating in a weird way

Pull session finished and slight change around.

Did some strict barbell rows in Smith with the contraction at peak working to 120kg for 3 work sets.
Seated high to chest cable row
Seated underhand front pull down working to 50kg each side then drop to 40kg. 40kg each side felt better and more connection with the weight.
    Cable pullovers

Finished with EZ preachers and once failure moved to standing EZ bar curls with same weight.

Cardio as per usual and now to tuck into the Coco Pops. Fairly dull at this stage but the focus is there and no desire to slack now I have set myself this goal of getting into shape. Will see where the path takes me, may even consider a show depending on how I end up looking!

I like smith rows. Seem to be able to get a much better squeeze at the top when going heavier

Absolutely. Also as it's a restricted plane of motion can target it a little more effectively. Have been toying with dead stop work as well to add some variation in.
Was doing weighted chins for a period but at the lowest part when stretching caused issues with my right shoulder so moved away from those.

I'm gonna give the inverted chin a try
Really hits the lats and shouldn't stress the shoulders
You can add weight and put heels on a bench to make it harder

As per @pooley1810 warmed up with some leg extensions to get blood flowing and warm up the creaky knee joints!
Then to leg press worked up in 100kg to 500kg for 2 sets of 8 which were hard work and then a set of 300kg for 20 and another of 15.
Glute ham raise with bodyweight then 25kg for 9 then 6 and dropped to bodyweight for a few rest paused to failure.
Leg extensions and ham curls to finish and 20mins cardio at on cross trainer. Went for a walk at lunchtime if only to clear my head but was a little extra activity.

Do you ever read fiction or are you a solely non fiction reader for the most part?

Love reading but generally fiction, one thing that helps me switch off!!
