Quickly does maths in head.
Nah, think I'm sweet there
Not seen anyone mention it but these IPF boys also squat in sleeves only (no wraps) and the DL bar they use is stiffer too.
Guy is incredible
And with a walk out.
I used to lift ipf. Was spotting the world juniors a few years ago and saw Karl Kritenson squat about 380/400 in single
Ply and wraps like it was a fucking warm up. I just stood behind him, shook my head and patted him on the back. Guy didn't even quiver when he walked it back in.
That's the big fella who was close to 500kg squat wasn't it. Not seen anything of him for cpl years now
Yeah, that's him. Not seem anything since I ditched social media. Biggest legs I've ever seen on a man
He's from York I think or thats where he has tagged his training location on IG
Squatted 340x3 earlier this year too.
Another Junior, Pena, squatted 425.5kgs on the same comp. He lost to Luke as he missed the 305 deadlift that would have given him the bigger total.
All final lifts, none of them any struggle.
I just snorted and swallowed some snot.
Incredible, true freak of nature there, gear or not.
Is the testing done before/after the comp? Or random?
At that level they will probs take a sample between flights or at the end of the day I reckon.
Already at a level where he is progressing to be one of the best UK raw lifters ever. When this lad starts using gear he will be scary, he's already lifting outrageous amounts with ease.
Just look at Tom Martin, was already a freak pre-gear and now he's a machine. This lad is at that sort of level already without (albeit Tom smashes him on wilks)
Ipf testing isn't massive from memory but it's normally winners at the national comps plus anybody the judges don't like the look of depending on how much cash they have. Occasional tests at the GBR training camps before intentional comps and then euros/worlds normally have a little more.
It's fully wada affiliated so you have to make yourself available for out of competition testing too although they didn't used to do much of that afaik
So the chances are this kid has never touch any peds in his life then.
All the more impressive.
Could go on to do great things.
