    -23 kg chins / dips 5x5
    2km rowing machine
    seated db press 18 kg dbs 8,8,6 (tried for 7),5
    goblet squats 30 kg db 3x9
    rear delt flies 3x15
    db curls 3x12
    db shrugs 20 kg dbs 3x20

    Reduced assist on the chins /dips - elbows felt ok.
    Went for 7th rep on 3rd set of db press but only got half way. got 1 extra rep in same sets compared to last time though
    Added a rep on the goblet squats
    Couldn't find the KB so used db for shrugs and preferred them.

    Minor progress! Physically I am starting to see a bit of a difference. I don't bother to weigh myself but can tell my the love handles and chin. Shoulders are making a little bit of progress too.

    db c+pp 22kg dbs 9x3
    RDL 50 kg 4x11 / db lateral raises 5 kg dbs 6x10
    Leg press 66 kg 1x20
    db curls 12 kg dbs 3x10

    Felt my elbows slightly flaring up again so will stick with 3x5 for chins for a bit. Dips are no problem.
    Got an extra set on the c+pp
    Added a rep on the RDL. I will get up to 4x12 then add weight.
    Upped the weight on the lateral raises but Im not really sure this counts...
    Finally the leg press was free, so did a quick set of 20.
    Upped weight on the db curls.

    Good session. May do 5km rowing tonight as I missed it yesterday.

    Rowing time was 7 seconds better than before - it felt like it should have been more than 7 seconds!

    seated db shoulder press 20 kg dbs 9x3 / db rows 30 kg db 9x3 per arm
    Goblet squats 30 kg db 4x9
    Chest press machine 45 kg 3x8
    db curls 12 kg dbs 3x10

    Thought I would start to do db shoulder press / db row superset on one day and chins / dips on the other. Went up to 20 kg dbs and went quite well. Was aiming for 10 sets of 3. First time doing db rows in a long time and weight was OK.
    Added one set of goblet squats and changed rest time back to 60 seconds like everything else.
    First time doing chest press...was pretty meh but will stick with it.
    Rear delt fly machine was taken but I felt pretty fcked after that, so called it a day.

    Good session.

    Just realised I was supposed to do db RDL too... next time :facepalm:

    Did not have long, so quick rowing session. It was tough but I shaved 30 seconds off.

    Leg press 70 kg 2x20
    RDL 3x12 50 kg / lateral raises 5 kg dbs 3x12
    db curls 12 kg dbs 3x10

    Chins were OK for 5x5 this time - elbow feels better not doing them 3x a week.
    Got an extra set on the c+pp. I will stick with this for the while of Aug then I will up the weight of the dbs. I want to make sure I get 8 sets when I up the weight.
    Added 2 sets on the leg press this time. Was not fun...
    Dropped a set on the RDL but upped the reps. I will add weight next time and stay in the 8-10 rep range - not that keen on 12 reps for this.

    Felt wrecked after that. Got a heavy weekend coming up, so will do cardio tomorrow then nothing until Monday (or Tuesday, depending on how savage Saturday is)

    Really crap session as only got 5 hours sleep. Knew in first 500m it would be a slog.

    So monster hangover and fcked my knee up. Knee felt OK to go back to the gym

    db curls 12 kg dbs 10,10,8

    Got an extra set on the seated shoulder press, so was happy about that! And did the 10 set of 3 for the rows too.
    Got an extra rep on the goblet squats but they destroyed me - the workout was done at that point.
    chest press was crap - I went straight into after the goblet squats. that was a mistake...
    didn't get the last 2 reps on the curls as was fcked.

    still, a good session.

    Leg press 73 kg 2x20
    db curls 12 kg dbs 3x10

    Fractional improvement on the chins and dips (up from 5x5).
    I debated about doing 10x3 on 22 kg dbs more or to up the weight. I upped the weight but not sure that was a good idea. I will stick with the 24 kg dbs though.. Rest times quickly went from 60 secs to 120 secs.
    Added 5 kg on the RDL - think I will add a rep per month until 3x10, then up weight.
    Used the other leg press, hence strange weight.

    Rowing time broke 9 mins.
    Shoulder press and rows were the same. I will continue this for this month then up the weight on the BOR next month.
    Goblet squats were savage again.
    Chest press was OK at this weight but pretty shit weight.
    Flyes felt good.

    RDL 55 kg 3x8 / lateral flyes 7 kg dbs 3x8
    Leg press 73 kg 2x20
    db curls 14 kg dbs 3x8

    Reduced the assist on the chins / dips.
    Tried bb push press instead of db c+pp. prefer 24-30 reps for shoulders. Think BB will be easier to go up in weight on.
    Leg press was slightly easier than last time - first set of 20 was without any pauses.
    Upped weight on db curls - last set was tough.

    What’s your best 1000m row?

    My gym just ran a comp for best time and some were nonsense. 3:05 won iirc. He was an Olympic rower over from the states mind

    My best effort was 3:37
