    I couldn’t follow that diet so not a chance you could. We would both be well n truly starved [emoji23]

    Wanna tell you about my lift performance. the lifts on this diet were all right. Two days outi bench pressed 105 kilos 18reps(best contest result 162,5 kilos at 87,8BW), after the pump training(glycogen depletion phase, 3 days pump-like training), maybe a week prior the contest overhead pressed 100 kilos (my best lift is 110, at 97BW) and two weeks out did a strict bicep curl 70kilos(best lift 72'5)
    so i think if i lost some, that was unsignificant.

    Just tried to tell all aspects of my first preparation, with max details)) i think my bodycomposition changed dramatically in practically no time, and maybe some fatty boar like me would read this, and learn smth about the contest preparation.

    And would not repeat my experience (as it was not pretty cool)
    Speaking about starvation, i can say i starved at 1600-1800ccals, while the carbs were average, after lowering carbs to 27-28grams a day, and some increase in fat intake, i felt uch better, until the line of 1250 ccals a day, everyrhing was Ok. Just telling truth.

    Well ok..im doing rhat easy mon tue wed...but increase cals to fri then eat heavy for a few days..working well.

    Next season i will compete there would not be such extreme diet plans, but also there would not be so much fat, and so little time.

    Well done for seeing the prep through and getting on stage. You didn’t look out of place compared to the other guys but obviously need to be leaner. Still, not bad for first time and doing it yourself. You’ll never get everything right first time so it’s important you realise where you went wrong and put things right next time. I think even if you don’t have a coach dictating things it’s always good to have someone else monitoring you and giving honest advice
    What were your off season calories and what did you start your diet on? Be interesting to see why you dropped so low

    The discussion about whether or not it's starvation has some content. You saying:

    doesn't really add much does it. Hilly has never been one to sugar coat things. He calls a spade a spade and I don't see an issue with the posts prior the two you're referring too. It's hardly an issue is it, not much wrong with those posts either but just tidying up the thread a little. If I removed more posts would that seem like sensible moderation to you or censorship?
