New Years Resolutions/goals?

    Anyone make any resolutions for 2017?

    Personally, i don't wait till a New Year to make them, but my plans are
    1) Stay injury free
    2) Get to 260lbs ( in same conditon as i'm in now)
    3) Compete in 2 shows (qualifier & finals)

    #1 was set about 4 years ago, TBH, been a bit hit 'n miss on it :lol:
    #2 & #3 have been set more recently.

    1) Get a chest
    2) Don't get too fat whilst putting on weight @Con hopefully will sort me haha.
    3) Learn to not be too hard on myself (this will be the hardest by far)

    A lot more effort into nutrition and hit a 160kg Inc bench.

    Wouldn't mind hitting 300DL finally as well but it's all dependant on how I get on with the nutrition.... If I nail that I'll piss the rest.

    Not too arsed other than that. Got other things I'd rather focus on.

    Squatted 300 easy.



    A year ago. Takes so much to build up to that. Will aim for Feb/Mar.

    Not really a specific goal set but just want everything to be consistent, diet, training, gear and rest. See where that takes me first

    Get to 235-240lb, whilst remaining leaner than my previous heaviest of 226!
    A 260kg deadlift
    A 210-220kg squat for reps (6-10)

    830+ total at GPC-GB in March.

    At least one strongman comp, for the craic and with my sons in the audience, during 2017.

    Dead 200 for 6
    Squat 180 for 6

    Get back to earning six figures.

    Stay 16 stone + for 3 months then strip the fat off.

    Have a nice 14 day break in the sun.

    Improve my outlook on life and ppl in general.
