Extremely Merry for everyone then haha. Back today and was one lazy arse session, still think I was shaking off the alcohol from Xmas day. BOR: 160KG/ 4reps. Wide lat pulldown to front: 110kg/4-5 reps. Wide pulldown to rear: 82.5kg/7-8 Seated shrug machine: 7 plates per side/ 4 reps. Standing shrug (same machine) 9 plates per side: 5 reps. Widegrip pullups bodyweight: 8/10 Rear delt flye machine: 4 sets, weight insignificant, just to move some blood around and grab some volume. Strength improvements deff made but was supposed to do calves after but just couldn't be arsed. Finished a slin pen today and will take a break from that for 3-4 weeks. Food: Protein shake, 2 toast, butter, cranberry juice. Lucozade while training. Huge beef curry, rice, more lucozade. About to have a few chicken and stuffing muffins the Mrs is cooking up. Before bed there's a fair bit of beef left over so will get stuck into that. Overall, given all the shite that's going on, been a very good Xmas this year. Got my birthday on the 30th then of course New Year (nope, won't be drinking, made one of those put off for life vows that will get broken some time next year).
Crappy day ysday, feeling a bit under the weather nothing too bad but took the day off. Ended up driving me nuts so fuck knows what happens when this national lockdown kicks in again. Only got in like 2 meals ysday so going to do a bit of arms and calves, see how I feel. Slept well but very little food or hydration so keeping it settled today. Couldn't help feeling a little off ysday but really do need to buckle down now and keep eating consistent, mainly an increase in protein as discussed before. I have been getting stronger and noticeably bigger (a hell of a lot stronger on certain exercises) but I know I'm also missing out on a lot with the haphazard diet. So this morning has been 2 toast with butter, pack of salmon and a pint of cranberry juice. Probably the healthiest breakfast I've had in months haha.

Calf press machine: stack w/plates added rest paused for 3 sets. 14-16 reps Calf press on leg press: full stack w/plates added. 7 reps. Machine dips full stack w/plates added. 7-8 reps. Single arm cable pushdown: 20kg/6 reps. Rope pushdowns: 35kg/6 reps. Dead stop floor db sk: 18kg rest paused 3 sets/13 reps. Machine preacher curls: 42kg/5 reps Single arm machine preacher: 24kg/6 reps. Close grip cable curls: 40kg/6reps. Rope hammers rest paused 3 sets: 50kg/14-15 reps. Blew the cobwebs off, made me feel a bit more active and will crack on from here.
Birthday today, all hail me! Bugger all can do today other than train and eat shit food (like most days), so not bad I suppose haha. Yesterdays Food: Salmon, 2 toast, butter, cranberry juice. Lucozade while training. 400g chicken, pasta, apple juice. Protein shake, 5 crackers w/Philadelphia, raspberries. XL Dominoes pizza, ham & pineapple with extra chicken. 3 slices chicken pizza the Mrs leftover Off to do legs now, need to be quick as Mrs will be back soon and even though we can't even go out and book a bloody meal etc apparently its bad form to be at the gym on your birthday. Opened my presents already like a little kid, got a really cool Scarface wallet that will fit nicely with my yayo habit. Hope everyone has a good day Mine will be train, eat, sleep. Eat, sleep. So today ended in the shitter for most of us but today's eating: Pint cranberry juice Lucozade while training. Bacon butties. Salmon, pasta, 2 tins peaches. Ton of steak made by the Mrs, peppercorn sauce and chips. Birthday cake of course. Now back to the ol' ml of test, bands hanging off the stair bannisters and nearly spending the rent money buying gym equipment off Ebay before at the final 'see the light' moment cancelling the PayPal transaction.
I've got a feeling this one's gonna stick around for a good while. My mate who works for NHS (paramedic) text me yesterday cancelling my stag do (again) as the news from the hierarchy is preparation for another full lockdown starting January time with potential 9pm curfews. He's not a scaremongerer type either, so if you can get gym equipment I'd say it's money well spent.
Yeah, I've said fuck it now I have no way to train and I'm on 100mg/week Test C until I can get a decent run at things again. All this stopping and starting is messing with my stretch marks and fucking with my mental health. Feels kinda good to be lighter as well.
