Post Workout Carbs - Quantity And Type?

    How many grams of carbs do you tend to have post workout and from what food?

    I got into a bad habit where I treated post workout as an opportunity to have any carb source and quite a large amount, say 50-70g and it definitely slowed fat loss (kind of obvious I know) so finally putting the brakes on it and back to about 20g which has always been ok. Curious what other people do/can get away with.

    For me, I do actually use it as an opportunity to eat some junk
    About 200g of carbs, usually cereal and bagels with jam

    I’m guessing that will be the norm tbf. I’ve eaten low carb for so long I think I’m pretty sensitive to them.

    Same as pooley, usually between 200-350g in doughnuts, muffins, cereal, rice and milk shake, if I’ve trained something like deads + squats + leg machines it’s near the top end, Chest and bi’s or Delts and traps it’s lower end, and I eat carbs with every meal

    All junk “bad” carbs as well post workout apart from white rice

    But I’m not cutting so doubt it’s relevant to you Simon

    Today 2 packs of Haribo, about 260g during.
    5 lemon curd doughnuts say 200g straight after.

    Only 5th time I've done it.

    Wraps, bagels, cinnamon fruit toast

    Something easy/quick and I can eat cold usually

    Anywhere between 50-100g depending on the session

    Mango Sorbet or Rice based Cereals
