But we're 'ard so only a few will die
Boris and his Goons are talking of cancelling Christmas gents
How much more of this bullshit are people gonna put up with?
Round up the troops bro
There needs to be protests and eventually riots to finish off this government.
Would that mean no Xmas adverts on telly? No Xmas songs allowed to be played? Illegal to buy present?
Doesn't seem a bad idea ha ha.
Did they say how they would cancel it?
No big family get togethers
There’s talk of this rule of 6 bollocks being around for fookin ages, maybe until Spring. If not longer
My guess is 3 months then relax just in time for Xmas, so the posh tory cunts can have spiffing festive get togethers to play soggy biscuit.
I knew this shite was coming with the flu season looming, I can’t believe people will comply with it though, but they will.
“Oh well Christmas is cancelled, social situations over 6 will be banned until spring. That’s a shame but what can you do, the government are making it illegal”.
My first reaction is fuck you I’ll do what I want. Can’t understand any other reaction tbh
When will people get some back bone and stop taking it up the arse
Corona virus kills sick 80 year olds ffs
Do what they like, they won't be stopping me from having more than 6 people in my own house
There are currently 863 patients with COVID-19 in hospitals in England and Wales.
To put that in context, 450 people died yesterday in the UK from cancer alone.
If I was a conspiracy theorist I’d maybe speculate that they are down because those deaths are now falsely being attributed to Covid
But I’m not a conspiracy theorist so I won’t say that
Lord Sumption dropping facts and common sense as per usual
Boggles my mind that every member of society doesn’t think this way. The guy is getting on for 80 btw, and still as sharp as tack
Then you’ve got these dumbasses on FB and yes even on here calling for people to adhere to the “rules” or old people will die. They don’t seem to be able to grasp that the old people themselves can adhere to the rules and shield themselves (if they choose to which many won’t) whilst young people get on with their lives. Not a problem then is it
Sumption is bang on the money again.
Sumption is only about 72. He isn't long retired from the supreme court which makes you stand down at 70.
Interesting career (let's not worry about the privilege of Eton / Oxford), only one of about 5 people in history to go direct from being a barrister to supreme court judge. Almost all others spend time in the judiciary in lower court.
