Preferred Training Style

Full body doing the major compound exercises with a couple accessory movements just for fun. 3 lifting days per week, started doin a bit of hiit cardio and barbell complexes as my bf% is a little high and I'm not a fan of cardio to be honest.

Full body or Upper lower i enjoy the most. Stronglifts, PHAT & lyle Mcdonalds generic bulking routine are the best ones i've tried so far.

I'm personally a massive fan of Dorian's training methods, utilising High Intensity Training with a couple of warmup sets per exercise then one work set to and past failure. Started this again recently and seeing great progress so far!

Sheiko, Smolov routines. Volume trainings building good foundation to whole lifting season. Best plans are those, where you improve you weekness not only strict plan copied from internet. You can't make a great plan by yourself. You aren't able to notice all of your mistakes in proper lifting. Clue: find someone who expertise this stuff. Moreover - science vs experience, what's more important? Like in the other fields of life - What Lies Beyond Truth and Ideals.

high volume...training 5x a week works best for me I've found.

atm my split is-
-arms
-legs
-off
-chest
-back
-delts
-off

ill open up warm ups on my 'main' lift & do 1 all out working set 11-15reps, drop 20% to failure the following set. then just play the rest of the sesh by how I feel...loads of volume/dropsets/failure work

Volume, frequency, set and rep ranges are ever changing for me depending on circumstances.

However one thing I am moving towards more and more regardless of any of the above mentioned is how I execute each and every rep ie tempo and contraction. The more I train the more it is about contracting my muscles and not just moving a barbell or dumbell from A to B.

High volume for me.
I work out between 5 and 6 days.

6 day would be:
Legs/Chest/Arms/Legs/Back/Off/Shoulders

5 day, I split Arms and do them with another body part.

I workout at home so I find that I have to hit Legs twice to really get them going.
I normally start each day with a compound which I look to go lower reps for strength on. After that, I do between 6 and 10 exercises and go 4 sets for 10 reps and up. Legs I go higher reps on.
I look to change routine every 8 weeks or so.

For me, connection is everything.

Upper-Lower for 4 to 6 days per week. No set plans for each day, just kinda go with feel. Almost 50 and I started training at 16 years old. No plans other than stay lean and solid.

it is a very simple 2 on 1 off routine or a 3 on and 1 off routine at the moment i am on the 3 on 1 off ,i use these as i find they work better for me at the moment which are
2 on 1 off
day 1 chest /triceps
day 2 shoulders/biceps
day 3 off
day 4 back/forearms
day 5 legs ,and will do abs in with this 3 days a week
3 on i off
day 1 chest/triceps/fore arms
day 2 shoulders/biceps
day 3 back/legs
and then day off but with abs in the three days on ,

upper/lower is good. I am doing full body at the moment 3 x a week for a while. More reps too. I will go back to my normal split later though, Chest/Back-shoulders arms-legs, training only 3 Days but of course more volume. I actually like training 3 days a week and people often think full body is just for beginners but if you train with intent then it is hard with basic moves. High rep squats yesterday got me sweating...

Not done anything for a few years so gonna do a full body 3 times a week for a few weeks then its gonna be a 5 day split
Legs
Chest
Back
Shoulders
Arms

Full-body workouts with compound exercises are my jam too. It's efficient and effective - gettin' it done in three lifting days per week is where it's at! Have you ever considered becoming a gym instructor or personal trainer?
