Wasn’t expecting great things as I woke up at 0400 this morning and couldn’t get back off no matter what I did. Still, had decided I could try a push to 330kgs for two singles as my leg and hip were feeling stronger and I knew I’d be more or less two-footed — and my last big test pull of 325 was done almost one-legged as my left thigh was so severely unable to fire.... and it wasn’t that hard tbh.
Warmed up from 100kgs and did some one-legged glute bridges and goblet squats and swings with a little kettlebell.

320kgs x FAIL lost my line at the knees and dropped it
320kgs x almost as I missed lock out due to cramp in left thigh and dropped it again
Fooked off at myself, dropped the bar to 300kgs and got 4 reps touch and go out of sheer annoyance. Most I’ve ever got at that weight, but mainly ‘cos I never multi-rep much above 260.

V-grip pulldowns stack x 15 reps x 2 sets last one slow tempo and squeeze as weight didn’t feel heavy enough doing them straight and wasn’t up for doing more than 15 reps. Then a drop set in 4 stages with sadistic mate moving the pin.
Upright rows with oly bar off bench press hooks, straddling bench.

NECK pulls with rope handle, chest braced using incline bench. 15 on stack (no clue of weight) for 14 reps, rest pause gripping rope and go again until unable to pull out singles any more. Forearms pumped to oblivion, traps fucked entirely.
Laying cable handle rows (so like mimicking a seated cable row movement but laying on the floor under a high pulley and pulling to belly keeping elbows tucked in):
60kgs x 12 too light so stopped
90kgs x 8 too heavy lol
70kgs x 11 and fail
2 x 500m sprints on concept II rower
Fooked. Couldn’t get all my dinner down at home so decided to drink PWO raw whey and sugar mix again. Now regretting it as guts aren’t happy for the first time in ages (from food, that is).
