Anyone got any good recipes for a slow cooker they want to share?
800g lean diced beef
3 rashers bacon
3 sticks celery
3tbsp tomato puree
3tbsp Worcester sauce
1 stock cube
(carrot parsnip suede etc to liking)
cook the bacon (chooped up), onion, leek and celery until softened. Add Worcester sauce, tomato puree and 600ml water with stock in.
Add veg you like to slow cooked (new potatoes work for me with a couple of carrots, parsnips and sprouts)
Pour the stock and fried veg into slow cooker.
Brown the beef in the pan and throw in.
6-10 hours on low and you have 4 quality meals for pennies.

Thanks for the ideas. Done a couple of things now, not dissimilar to what you posted.
Going to attempt a full english breakfast after seeing that online recently. Will report back!
I only ever do chicken breast in mine #hardcorebodybuilder
Tried this with 1kg potatoes ... Worked well and lasted 4 meals.

Cook on slow for 12 hours... Tastes awesome and silly easy to do.

I did a big batch of chilli in mine last week lasted a good few days
Cooked up a 1.5kg beef brisket in quarter of a bottle of BBQ sauce and some water. Slow cooked for 12 hours and was delicious.
That’s my sort of prep!
Not knocking it but is that not a huge amount of sugar!?
Little bit gets absorbed into the meat mate but I should clarify you don't drink/eat the coke with it...its just to flavour the meat...I have used diet coke and it does work...just not quite as well.
Gotcha, I wasn’t sure how much would be absorbed. I’m a Pepsi Max fan. Maybe I’ll give that a go some time.
