    Hi everyone thought id get my journal up and running while i cant sleep lol

    Iv been training more or less from the age of 16 but that was mainly bodyweight stuff and cardio as i was serving in the Armed Forces i only really started weight lifting at 21 and managed to do well but never really had any sort f direction.

    I started strongman at 26 and managed to compete in 3 novice comps, my plan was to move up into the opens category but a shoulder and bicep injury at the start of 2014 put me out of training and competing all together.
    I started again this year but my shoulder and bicep injury reared its ugly head and stopped training all together.

    This is basically my first week back so all my main lifts are pitifully low but hopefully now i can slowly regain my strength and attempt to get back to competing next year.

    Comp History:
    - MuscleInc Strongman Summer Slam (Novice) - 5th
    - Royal Counties Festival of Strength (Novice) - 1st
    - Kents Strongest Man (Novice) - 5th

    Looking good there buddy… some nice lifts going on. Strength seems to be coming back in leaps and bounds. :thumb:

    I didnt do my new routine tonight as it was a really hectic day at work which wasnt made easier with the heat.

    Kept the reps comfortable but even the first few sets felt a bit heavier than they should have.

    Not so busy tomorrow so hoping to get in nice and early to squat.

    Used to love log nights I found they really hit my shoulders and takes it out of you also.

    When I get some garage room again I'll add some log training back into my routine managed to hit 100kg on my big log and 102.5kg on my small log.
