why make a tv programme on the. its watchable but lets be honest why should the have the right to be in a documentary?

You're objecting because they're on a documentary? Like you said, it's watchable which is what any producer/ director wants but it'll be good for people to see how different life is away from civvy street.

Howcome they are aloud to get married inside? That's what shocked me Lol. Just dealing with the thought of more than a year inside makes me think how unbearable it is.

there was one on before wormwood scrubs and they were acting up or the camera. ****ting all over their cells, getting all mouthy for the tv cameras knowing the staff could do absolutly nothing. when theses gus are doing 20yrs or whatever what would hat be for?

They become conditioned. 99% of the lads just want routine to go on without stress or panic. Their cells get rinsed if sh*t goes missing and privileges get taken away if they P*ss around. On the flip side good behaviour means within 8 weeks they get enhanced status and live a bit more humanly. Some lads f*ck off cat D prisons (relatively open) and walk to ours, banging on the giant front doors to be let in because they miss the routine /facilities or reoffend to get away from civvy street stress (debt/missus/gangs)

We are a nation of curious cats mate and we know what curiosity did to the cat. With tv programmes showing what drugs kerry ketona has been recovering from and what stupid idiot shes marrying now its not really suprising there are such shows. I agree with you though incarceration should not be made public through television its not really much different to a zoo to be honest.

unfortunatly with the more serious crimes the victims/families own tvs aswell and should not have to switch on to see this lot arseing about on tv

gotta love shawshank, although theres a scene where a guard beats a poor fat lad to death. Really bothers me that scene cant watch it.
