So, I thought I'd do a post about how I eat. Yes....I eat a vegan diet. Now before I go any further, I am not one to preach, I don't force my views on anyone, however if I can help anyone move to eating less animal products then I feel I will have done my 'bit'.

    Typical day for me would be as follows;

    meal 1
overnight oats (I currently mix 50/50 Buckwheat flakes and Oat bran) with added seeds (chia, linseed, sunflower etc), raisins, berries, maca powder
    protein shake with added cacao

    meal 2
Tofu or Tempeh, avocado, huge salad (leaves, lettuce, pickled beetroot and gherkins, sauerkraut, tomatoes, cucumber

    meal 3
couple handful nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts) and a few medjool dates
    banana

    Pre/Intra
    EAA's and HBCD, creatine
    Post workout
bagel with nut butter and banana
    protein shake

    Meal 4
Seitan steak (I make my own) with a huge salad as per above

    Meal 5
Alpro yogurt, nut butter, berries, maca powder

this is a baseline diet that I add/subtract from depending if I want to add size or diet down. Other foods I eat frequently are potatoes and rice, burgen and sourdough bread. I eat beans and pulses less frequently and I generally stay away from cruciferous veg as they do cause issues with digestion. I focus on eating whole foods as much as possible, organic and GMO free where I can.

    I supplement with a good multi vit, vit C, D3 and B12, Omega 3 & lysine.

As you can see its probably not much different than a standard BB diet, other than the protein sources. It works well for me and may offer some insight into the world of plant based diets.

Vegan Bodybuilder - Yes It Can Be Done
I'm just curious as to the OPs physique, the point about it can be done would be very dependent on his current nick... and how long he has been a vegan.

I'm not even trolling just curious

i like a legit example, its a very subjective thing though so many variables. Like gear breaks a barrier for size, skeleton structure, muscle bellies play a part in looks, and diet all play a part.

Dude I know calls him self a natural vegan bodybuilder 6ft4 and 290lbs, he's 42 IIRC and spent 41yrs and 6 months a meat eater consuming farms and tren like its going out of fashion... the other spectrum is the vegan bodybuilder in the do you even lift category.

I think broadly most approaches are viable and can have results whether they are optimum or otherwise to the said person... pfff that question will never be resolved.

    thanks mate

the above works out about 3.2k calories, 200 Pro, 100 fat and 375 carb. I usually eat more carbs to add size, and reduce carbs and fats (a little) and increase protein to diet down.
