When I was on top of my life I used to spend a chunk of time doing yoga, generally via an app I had that was free and just in my living room. however this is now a paid app and I’m tight as fuck. does anyone do anything similar? Any app recommendations or is it all on the yooo toooobs? any good stretching plans? Supple leopard worth it? what do you do to not become stiff as a bored and as flexible as a house brick?
I had a girl who did yoga..always got me stiff as a poker watching her. On a serious note i have never tried it but do use basic stretches. I find the best exercises are Stiff legged deadlifts & DB pullovers as far as weight training goes. Dorian Yates seems to like yoga too
I do dead hangs off a chin bar, sorts all the upper body out. I stretch quads hams n legs but going for regular walks works better for myself...gym has a sauna and steam room ,il use them everytime im there too. Warming down after workouts works well too...treadmill or bike etc
i found that doing cardio first like 30 mins cross trainer which involves all the muscles was good. I am warm & sweating so when i did weights i actually lifted better. most do the opposite cardio after
mused to do agile 8 / limber 11 before workouts in the old days but kind of liked the yoga on rest days. The 8/11 don’t take a great deal of time but might be a good start point to try and not seize up again
You’d be best to focus on opening up the chest and lats then pigeon for the hips. Those three alone can solve a lot
